What If you turn him a bit one way or the other and get his wings toward the corners whilst the rest of him is in a an awesome pose. The dimension from corner to corner could make a good difference.

Yeah, of course. There are many simple tricks to squeeze in a tight fit but the entire point of me designing and constructing a display from scratch is to avoid these space compromises and show Unicron in all his glory.

I agree with you. I’m not moving forward on a display until we get final dimensions. A few inches one way or the other make a huge impact. My goal is a centrepiece display. The depth from the wall is my biggest concern right now. Plenty of time to figure it out. I budgeted based on the preliminary measurements. I won’t have anything built until everything is confirmed.

I keep thinking about my frame and a 3 way mitre joint seems awfully intimidating. The channel cuts would have to be absolutely precise as well.

I'd haul it around in a small trailer with my car.

    What. No fairies?

Reminds me of the time an Ozformers (Australia) member a few years back hauled an massive AoE Grimlock movie theatre prop to his home in his horse float. It was one hell of a massive prop.

Yeah, a 3 way miter is the stuff of nightmares. It’s pretty, easy to imagine, but the cuts are insane, not to mention unstable. I’ll PM you with more shop talk, don’t want to derail this thread with wood working tips. Anyone else care to know, I’ll include you in or leave it here if I get a couple of interested voices.

How long was it after funding ended for the Barge that the first production update was posted?

Yeah, where's the promo code to get the e-comic? Numbers are locked in now, so they know who bought how many etc.

Plus, final number of backers. Please and thank you !

The e-comic probably hasnt been completed yet. I am sure they have a basic idea, but they probably still need to finish it.

The paper comic exists. Bought it years ago and leaves much to be desired imo. Getting it in digital form wouldn't take long at all

Oh, I must have misunderstood what they were going to give you all. I thought they were giving you guys some kind of new comic based on the Siege story line. My mistake.

Where to find space to display him? May you be so lucky to have such a problem for your $600 toy.

where to find space to hide him is the real challenge.

Is anyone considering adding another room to their house to properly display this beast (and other bots)? Serious question.

I'm fortunate enough to have a dedicated basement as a toy room. Of all the research I have done, so far, this option is the most intriguing. If Moducase goes down in price for black Friday though, that might change things
