Very excited about the quintessons.  This is way overdue.  Hope they make enough of them.  Should have been part of 35th anniversary lineup.

 

I know, that's why I'm upset. Someone counted the votes and Needlenose was ahead of Runamuck, But I don't understand why he won when it shows Needlenose has the most votes.

My hope is that Hasbro announced Runamuck as the winner for the Runabout potential but will still make Needlenose anyways like spinster in siege.

 

all of these announcements are totally amazing! Im not a big movie fan, but as a guy who's seen more than enough g1 styled masterpiece figures come and go, im sure the movie fans are more than amped to get a right hand man for their MPM Megs!

Ive said this in a few posts, but im really glad we're getting some freaky space stuff in Earthrise as well, looks like the whole chapter isnt going to be just earth modes, but for an earth mode commander sky lynx is the perfect fit for a bigger earth mode character! I cant think of a single other character who would fit the bill better, I'm just the tiniest bit miffed we got two Autobots as a dude who collects mainly Decepticons, but i guess that ensures the chapter 3 one will be a baddie. Thats a super small complaint though, im still very very excited for our weird British dodo shuttle.

A Quinteson?? with how g1 everything has been in these lines, im happy we're really digging into the weirder corners. a hq figure of a Quinteson would look wonderful on anyone's shelf, but its presence really also drives home the space influence that Earthrise has, which relaxes me a bit; when Scorponok was teased i was worried they would try and shoehorn some earth garbage onto his modes and do my man dirty, looks like he'll be a regular giant purple space scorpion \o/

Well, I’m looking forward to Commander SkyLynx. Other than that, the Quints are some weird rumours.

 

Hope this is real as I'd really like to grab a Commander Sky Lynx and am very curious to see how the Quintessons would be integrated into a modern toyline.

 

I wonder if the nebulons could show up now that headmasters and targetmasters have been made cybertronian as Titan masters and battle masters.

 

I'm all for a new Sky Lynx, especially one that scales a bit better than the Combiner Wars release. Not that we care about scale or anything...  

Also, about time Takara releases Ratchet in the MPM line. The question now is should I buy it when he is first released or wait for a good sale like some other MPMs have done.

Also Quintessons are pretty strange entries for a "Earth" based line. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see what they might do with them and will gladly consider buying some but I would have thought they might save them for part 3 of WFC, especially since that part would coincide with the release of WFC Unicron.

my only question about this release is that, would it be a transformer? i mean i would be strange to release a non transformer in a nothing but transformers line.

If it doesn't transform. would it be a voyager on the large side of the spectrum due to what i would assume to be a lower parts count?

If it does have some kind of transformation, what the fuck would it turn into? maybe hasbro could have a stroke of genius and have it transform into a court bailiff or any number of other Quintessons that aren't just the judges? Prosecutor? Scientist?

 

this is a brilliant solution if you ask me or just release a 3 pack of judge, balif and executioner at a $30 price tag. scientist and judge would need very little articulation so i think it could be done

(I just think scale is meaningless for Sky Lynx, who is routinely the size of Astrotrain--a Voyager in both his recent outings--or Grimlock--also a Voyager. I know space shuttles are big, but unless they get the rights to make him genuinely look like a real space shuttle--which they won't--it seems kind of redundant. Now, a MOVIE Sky Lynx? I could get behind that at a commander size, because I know he'd actually look like a real space shuttle)

 

but he is also regularly portrayed as predakings rival, so a larger figure makes sense since predaking is a titan. fortunately for you, since you like a voyager skylynx, there is the combiner wars figure that you can use and we all just have to wait for star saber and deathsaurus

I want Sky Lynx to be big so he can look down at all the peons of the world.
