On the bright side, looks like there’s a chance I may get Spinister and Crosshairs before X-Mas. They’ve got a Targetmaster each waiting for them.

 

I'd also hope that the next wave of Deluxe Studio Series and Astrotrain will hit Canada before Christmas.

Has anyone noticed that many new figures have starting hitting Canadians stores before the US?

This was expected. But if ko-makers remedy Hasbro's fail I'll sell my official version.

 

I see no reason to buy this because we will probably never see Snapdragon. Just like Hasbro made Chop Shop but doesn't seem to remember who Venom, Barrage or Kickback are.

When I was a kid I bought Snapdragon & passed on Apeface because he looked like shit.

And here is the biggest problem with 3rd party & how they pander to the Masterpiece & Legends scale crowd. We should have multiple versions of all these characters in CHUG scale by now. But 3rd party hates CHUG & would rather make 50 million versions of Predaking, Menasor & Devastator instead.

 

Snapdragon was confirmed by John Warden IIRC.

 

Originally ApeFace (and Im guessing this version here) was confirmed for Titans Return by Hasbro. But, it didn’t happen until now. Hasbro have been keeping their promisis as of late. If Snap Dragon is missed here Im quite sure it will be out in the next classic line. However, as it has been pointed out Snap Dragon is expected in the Siege Earthwars line.

 

Before I canceled my pre-order, originally I was given the date of November 19th. Then the expected date was jumped from the 19th to the 15th. However because I was losing faith in the design of the figure measuring up to Siege standards like in Springer, I canceled. Maybe Optibotimus, Peaugh, Ton Ton or Emgo can restore my confidence in this figure. For now I really hope to land me an AstroTrain at a real good price, as my X-mass figure.

 

Last I checked, I heard that too. Hasbro finally has the avenues to one way or another get sets of figures we want out. Generatons Selects is usually the one that they've been turning to. It's rare that we get Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp in the same line. We got all the fembots. We got Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen. Hell we got a Cybertron Defense Hot Shot. A radioshack homage of Shockwave and the powerdashers. If its possible, they're gonna do it. They dont just have the wave of 8 figures anymore.



Yet, they still repack 2 old wave figures to short pack Crosshairs in the new wave, so they're not perfect.

 

Yeah I wish it was astrotrain coming on my birthday but hey, and I believe he's going to be remodeled into

snapdragon also which why it is designed like it is.

 

Saw the video reviews, it's atrocious in 2 of the 3 modes. Depressing.

 

How long will it take for it to hit western Canada?

 

The funny thing is that every TR that they released as a Voyger back then (Galvatron, Megatron, Blitzwing, OP, Astrotrain, Setinel Prime, etc.) shouldn't have been a TR in the first place...

Of those TR Voyagers that I have, I actually ignore that gimmick regardless.

 

Right. That's the part that sucks the most.
If Apeface and Snapdragon had been in TR this wouldn't have been a problem.

 

With Apeface it's a case for me of just being happy to finally get a character that's never been released in the CHUG lineup (at the right scale anyway).

It's starting to become hard to defend G1 against BW fans who want a break from G1 CHUG lines when we mostly get the same G1 characters over and over again.

 

I am happy we are getting Apeface at all.
I wouldn't be upset if WFC3 ends up being BW centric either.
I'm most interested in BW for the fiction and I'm hoping to be able to start a 3p legends scaled BW collection. But if there's any BW, toys that look good in WFC3 I'll snap them up for sure.
