Listings for MPM Ratchet and Starscream. Do you guys think they’re going for the complete movie 1 cast? Oh my god I want them all.

 

I hate to be that guy but I really don’t think those are listings for MPMs

Unless those are just deposit prices (in which case it should tell you the total price anyway), they are marked way too low to be MPM figures. Most MPMs go for around ¥7500 to ¥12000. If/when we get Starscream he’d probably be closer to the higher end, while Ratchet somewhere around ¥9/10000

I’ve no doubt we’ll see MPMs of these two at some point, Ratchet especially. But I don’t think these listings are any kind of confirmation

EDIT: Upon further inspection, the site also has listings up for an Earthrise Scorponok (which we do know is coming, fair enough), but also the Quintesson judge (random?) and some kind of planet (???). Yeah, I don’t know if reliable is a word I’d use for this source

by the looks of things and knowing I measured the HA Starscream, it looks MPM Prime and Ironhide are both 1/27 in scale, they would be to big..

 

I don't get any Movie Masterpieces but I am thinking a lot about getting the WeiJiang MPM Optimus Prime and the Model Wizard MPM Megatron. But if WeiJiang does release this Ironhide and if MPM Starscream is real and an improvement over the HFTD Starscream, I'll definitely consider picking up those two.

 

Honestly while i'm excited for that guy because he sure does look awesome. I just hate the fact he uses partsforming to hide the kibble in the guns, i mean, BlackApple did It with his Blackout and Optimus, but here it's just eh. I wouldn't call that lazy, but it's definitely not great either (though overrall, better looking than the official).
The official MPMs love or hate them, at least try to use every part of the vehicle and not cheating with faux parts and these other methods.

 

Yes that's true. I guess you kinda have to choose between vehicle mode accuracy or robot mode accuracy. Each of them have their own merits though.

 

Just curious, are you making an informed assumption about the partsforming or has there been new information shared?

How far apart are Deluxe waves usually? I was looking at Canadian sightings for Studio Series Deluxes. While the last wave was first sighted Mid August, the wave before that was end of March, but the wave before that wave weeks before. Just that with Wave 7 released since August, I hope the next wave will be soon.

 

Hey @Megatron118 i simply removed the roof section and separated the spoiler from the roof. You then have the spoiler section of the car and you’ll see a dark grey square piece underneath rear reg plate. I inserted that piece into the hole at the back of jazz’s head. Only modding was pins, then it’s friction that’s doing the rest. Hope that helps

 

I always thought if they made a mpm Ratchet there'd be a mpm Lockdown to match it
