This comment is silly and makes you look silly.

Phamduc has time and again proved his legitimacy.

I have the MMC Lynx so I'm not inclined to get this, but if there's a solid base mode to link up (lynx up) to the Modulators, then I might roll with it.

Come on Runamuck (& Runabout)! So, would these deluxes & voyagers be Wave 2 then? Is there any indication of that?

Word to the moderators, Sky Lynx is spelled "Sky Linx" in this thread and in the news article.

Would a moderator kindly fix that, please?

Could be coming out in both, Cyberverse Gnaw used a simplified version of the Titans Return toy's design.

I dunno. Seems early in the Commander Class life cycle to push it to two figures a year. But I suppose nothing is out of the question. Giving the Lynx a third base mode would justify a standalone release more than just a cat that turns into a box...so who knows. I'm just speculating about what would make it an appealing release to *me.*

Yep, that's why I'm hoping they have a plan like that in mind. Not to mention, if the Lynx mode can open up into a base...it would potentially make it easier for them to break it down in the box and fit in the commander packaging. As right now the box they used for Jetfire would seem to suggest a relatively small figure considering everything he'd need to have.

Also, I'm still rooting for a Commander Tidal Wave. Mostly because I genuinely could see Hasbro using CW ports to attach the arms to the body. I've got the original Tidal Wave...and that would be the difference maker between me grabbing the Commander Version versus tracking down an Armada Megatron to combine the original with.

Tell you what, if you want a CW Sky Lynx...wait until this is confirmed and then head to eBay. People will be unloading them left and right. Just like CW Magnus and even FunPub Impactor once they got Siege figures.

Although there is always an element of “grain of salt” to be had in rumors, this is not a HE tELl mE situation.

I'm not sure how I feel about Toyfair no longer being where the big "holy cow" reveals happen anymore. It seems that most things leak online well ahead of major shows and especially TF. It used to be fun to have reveals like Skylynx be only via prototypes and maybe a grainy pic or two taken at the show, but now retailers get lists ahead of time and fans get access to big box store manifest lists, etc. Anyway... all of that grumbling aside. These rumors make me happy.

Quintessa would be a very unexpected turn of events if it is based on the movie character. It and the Quintesson would be Hasbro's first worthwhile CHUG showings in a long time.

Here's the thing about this...it sounds crazy, but Hasbro has been taking hints from the 3Ps when it comes to their line. CW itself was a response to the popularity of the 3P combiner market, and some of the design choices for figures like Predaking and even the Dinobot combiner share elements from 3P figures.

It would surprise me if Hasbro/Takara has looked at how 3Ps sell bigger figures in two parts and thought about ways to copy that model. That doesn't mean Sky Lynx will do it, but there's reasons why it'd be a good test run.

    1. Stuff like Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, etc have proven there's a market for large vehicle toys with kids of all ages. These run the gamut from $30-90. So there could be a market for *just* the dragon portion of the figure and marking him at $80 would make it easier for stores to make room for him on shelves than the pair at $160.

    2. The people who'd *want* a full Titan Sky Lynx would have no problem paying $150-160 for something like that, but Hasbro already has Omega and Skorpy taking up that price point over the next few years. So if you break it down, they'll still buy both and you draw in kids with just the shuttle. Now cross market Lynx as combining with the shuttle and you *might* pick up some more kids...but it's okay if you don't because you make your money on the collectors who want both.

    3. Now you've got two commanders who sell well enough. If there's enough fan feedback once both are released...Hasbro/Takara could easily pivot and say "Due to popular demand we're going to do a run of Dragon/Lynx two packs (essentially a Titan) just in time for the holidays!" and now we've got our 2021 Titan ready to go without having to come up with a new mold. (Or he's just a bonus titan sold online because it's likely the collectors who missed out on one or both who'd get it.)

Again, not saying it's what will happen. But there's a path there.

Haha same on both accounts. Would've preferred a Decepticon by far, but if he's good... Yeah I'll get him anyway.

Huh, interesting. KInda makes me regret buying the CW Sky Lynx, as this one will be likely so much better articulated. But, eh, it is a nice toy.
Scorpy and RUnamuck we know about. Quintessons... interesting! Hasbro did mentiont here would be a third Marauder faction... guess it would be the Quintessons. Likely whoever listed them just googled them online LOL. Quintessa will definitely not be the planet given she is a Deluxe. I would not mind a femmebot based on her movie appearence in a more G1 style. Curious whether the Voyager will be a 5-faced judge? I don\'t remember them being that big in the cartoon...
