How much longer before Wal-Mart ships out orders? I prefer the light with the dark stripe.

 

I cancelled my original order and put new order in. Came in 2 days. Pretty happy with ops and megs cell shading.

 

I finally found some in store! Screw you PO, lol. So happy to finally get Op and Megs.

 

I finally cancelled my preorder today and was planning to reorder Prime, but wound up seeing it available in/store nearby. Picked one up and am incredibly happy with it. May be my favorite Prime in this scale it not out of all of them. I hope we get more cel animated figures in the future!

 

I finally found him at Walmart. There were about 20 of them them and only one had a white faceplate with grey highlight (i bought that one) the rest all had a grey faceplate

They forgot the other translations on the box, too, lol

 

That's a hilarious error. The other figures have the correct translations.

 

I’d have preferred an animation style repaint of Earthrise Optimus Prime than this.

 

I legit want more of these figures. A cel-shaded Soundwave with the red visor and maybe one Seeker.

Do you reckon they could seperate Shockwave from his Leader-class accessories and sell him as a Voyager Class figure in the lighter purples?

not likely, even if they could you would then have people complaining that that is how it should have been released from the start and then people wont buy the leaders expecting them to eventually get a voyager release

 

Got sick of waiting on Walmart.com was ever going to send 35th Optimus and Megatron so I bought them in person.

Is that peoples' fault or Hasbro's?

Also, Walmart is really trying my patience. They won't ship my preordered Megatron and they won't stock them locally. Why do they get exclusives again?

 

Is the price really that bad? For Shockwave that is.

I finally saw these guys first hand for the first time today. And, I have to say that I actually like the cel-shaded look a lot more than I thought I would! It’s a nice departure, IMO.

 

Got tired of waiting for the pre-order and went out and found them today. The decos are pretty great. Doesn't look quite as good in person, but it's still pretty cool. I'd love to see more figures done like this

I'm just asking if the super-mode parts for Shockwave are tied to the mold, meaning they couldn't seperate them and release the standard figure alone in cel-shaded paint like Animation Op and Megs. Because I just really like the aesthetic of those two figures and would like to see other figures from Siege done up like that.

 

Back when these were first revealed I was kinda "ehhh" on them but once I saw them in person I had to get them, they look really good.

 

And the answer to that is, regardless of if any parts are on the same sprue as the main figure the core robot will never see a solo voyager release from hasbro. It sets a precedent of leaders possibly getting released without extra bits and then hasbro would lose money because fans wouldn’t buy future leaders because they’re expecting a cheaper voyager release
