I like both equally to be honest, each has its strengths.

The generations one is more detailed, has the better deco, and with the iGear head is perfect for his IDW look. But he doesnt really work if your wanting g1 accuracy.

TR has the more g1 accurate alt mode and robot mode, but has an awful face sculpt "though to be honest the default gens one is just as bad", and his shoulders are square.

Showz’s requires a premium account ($10 for a year) to potentially get the maximum benefit that edges slightly over 12% in savings & store credit. Baba’s is a flat 11% off ( funny how baba’s sale description throws shade at sales where you have to figure out points & percents for others’ sales  ). In any case, both of their sales are only lasting through singles’ day (nov 11, ie 11/11).


So I guess no OS’d computron people have heard of? While $149 shipped is a nice deal compared to what it originally retailed for, one could get both the white and multicolored computronesque gestalt sets and have some leftover for an undersized cw devy and an OS’d terrorcon limb. Oh well, off to watch some videos for those two wj(?) computrons before putting more sirtoys stuff on hold.

I bought it when it went REAL cheap last black friday I think it was. worth every penny. BADDASS combiner and each fig is killer

 

To be fair, tr kups bot mode is more based on his all hail megatron appearance rather than g1, that’s where the square shoulders come from

 

It's my final Computron solution. And I think I'm more excited for it than anything else. Luckily, some more stuff sold to cover it.

I searched the forum and can't find that rumors of a ko come from anything but assumptions based on the success of Jinbao's other warbotron. Since they're tied up at least doing Superion first (and then I'd kind of expect a Menasor or Defensor more likely after that), it sounds a lot better to grab this one while I can.

But f**k me for having like two of every combiner now.

In fact, smartlulu had the white WJ for under 45 with coupons, so that'll be three - just for the satisfaction of doing my damned leg swap, as I was so determined to do. Which I will likely sell, as he is to be so overshadowed. But then I can finally just let the remainder WJs be they wanna be. Which I think is the McDonald's Commandrons.

ALSO getting "Trans Police" from SirToys - to do another limb swap - to make (sorta) Landcross. Anybody remember Landcross? Never a 3P Landcross.

I suppose what was on the red bot’s firearm in the initial pic was ‘less clear or distinct’

The only problem with WB Computron is that as he's so old now - it does lead to problems with not being able to get some of the upgrades it once had as easily. (like a chest plate replacement) or even the details of the various fan mods might be hard to find. I think he'd go reasonbly well with the Daban / GT Constructicons though.

Personally I'm holding out some hope that Yes Model will upscale the Make Toys ones - if they do they though might need some minor quality of life tweaks so they hold together a bit better (the ankles have a tendency to come undone on the original one). They might make it onto some of the Chinese outlets on ebay soon too and they can be a good deal especially with a Voucher and when one factors in other possible benefits (like eBay Bucks, Nectar Points, voucher codes or Cashback). They might also offer them loose which might reduce the price substantially too.

 

Oh... I had them in robot modes for like a week, then transformed them into combined mode (it took 2 hours or so  ) and since then I keep them combined, so I didn't notice any flaws of robot modes  .

I'll let you know once I get mine ("red Defensor"), I'm very curious about quality too (if it's good, I'll order Bruticus and Superion too). Unfortunately, it seems my parcel currently travels around the China and doesn't seem to be willing to leave (on the other hand, Aoyi Terrorcons which were shipped later probably will arrive tomorrow, love how ePackets are delivered at random order xD).

Wow. I really like the look of that Spider-Man Lambo. I wonder if someone will do a review of it. I would like to know how solid the bot mode is and how articulate.

The generations version is a great IDW Kup (especially with the I-gear set) and the TR version or rather the LG version is a great Sunbow Kup.
I've read that the actual TR version is a great Marvel Kup. So why not all three?
