Okay, now that the "First Edition" aura has worn off, I think FE Vehicon is an ok figure at best. It's a good first attempt of a TFP vehicon figure, but that's about the nicest thing I can say about this bulky boy. FE Vehicon here has quite a lot of kibble, it didn't pose well, and the figure kinda feels like a "brick". I do love how this figure transforms into both modes and the plastic is good, however.



As this figure didn't come with its original weapon when I got it, I modify the gatling gun from T30 Whirl and give it to my FE vehicon along with the cylindrical micro-missile launcher that aso comes with T30 Whirl, and I think they fit ok. I kinda see FE vehicon with the more bulky appearance as a "Heavy-Weapon type" Vehicon, who is more costly to produce and less agile than a regular Vehicon, but it also has better armor, more firepower and better intelligence than a regular Vehicon; Making these "Heavy-Weapon" type Vehicons ideal for defensive and support combat purposes.

 

For what it is, Siege Impactor's tank mode is decent despite the odd proportion (Especially with the tank turret been almost as big as the lower tank hull) and I like that you can axtually rotate the tank turret.

 

These new effects are jolly good fun.

Went and painted the black missile pods on Sixgun's torso with some silver paint, and now they look like actual missiles.

My favorite TF of today is Siege Sixgun.

 

I have Maketoys' Delta Manus, and I still want that Magna Convoy. Also, which prime is the one in the front?

Yeah, I should have snabbed it when it was $90~110ish last year. C'est la vie. Ther will presumably be some other Powered Convoy repaint of some other OP mold in the future that will also be great looking. And in the meantime I really like my Delta Manus.

I really hope we get a slammer (metroplex's little tank buddy) repaint out of this mold. Their tank modes are very similar and they could pull it off with very little remolding and a new head.
