I am mainly interested in this for its alt mode. I hope it very articulate and can hold a gun like it did in the cartoon. MMC do have seem to have the look down for a Victory alt mode.

So no d-zef until after March, that is disappointing to say the least. MMC is by far my favorite company but they need to start getting better at gauging these release dates. I understand stuff happens that causes push backs but come on it going to be over a year delay.

Edit: nvm that was just disappointing talking I love this company and will support them no matter what, they will pull through with a great death and that's all that matters.

Dude on FB knows more than someone who has a working relationship with MMC.

    Sure.

Gotta agree, especially without some screenshot showing who the dude is. Rando on the internet saying things doesn't mean anything.

Uh, I wasn't talking about him. I was talking about the dude who said some rando on FB said something about an MMC project and then a guy who works with MMC said he has no clue on that project. What Ryan said doesn't factors into that, guy.

Whatever, then I guess I was only talking to divinecomedy, even though you were quoting him.

Oh I just heard from Paik that he was gonna look at it or that he almost got it. Something like that. The point being that the chance was missed and I said, “well I’m just glad he does exist!”

For the pictures on page 1 it looks like this is going to be bigger than the Planet X one, is this confirmed? I'm looking for a Deathsaurus that scales reasonably with the Flame Toys Star Saber.

I’m pretty sure all the Flames Toys stuff doesn’t correctly scale/scale well with anything.

This isn’t meant as a dig, but did you really prefer them over figures that are much cheaper, look as good/almost as good as the Flame Toys stuff *and* can transform and scales well with basically all the other IDW stuff on the market?

I mean, I guess the answer would be that you prefer how they look but ... I don’t know : (

I personally am negatively interested in them. I don’t think I’d even own one if they weren’t offered to me for free.

(Well maybe I would - I would sell them >_>)

I don’t think it’s that fair or compare them. They’re cheaper, yes, but that also shows chase they have different materials and stylings. But people might just like them.

    Yeah.

Their styling is a bit different. But they’re much more expensive, don’t really scale with anything (I don’t even think they scale with themselves ....) and can’t transform.

One thing I like that they did better was give Tarn accurate hands/fingers.

Well, I'm actually not really interested in IDW per se, never followed the comics...I wanted to give a try to this line of ultra premium figures that everyone seemed to be so enthusiastic about and they just happened to be based on IDW designs. Now, since I am a Victory fan, when I get a Star Saber figure the immediate next step is to look for a Deathsaurus, and the two offerings from MMC and Planet X might fit the bill. They won't be neither 100% IDW accurate nor g1 accurate, but if the size isn't too different and I can tell at first glance they are Deathsaurus and Star Saber, that's good enough for me.
