Given what we've seen so far, I don't think I'd order either one. I'm not crazy about the aesthetic of Quantron, and we haven't seen much of Warbotron. I won't order Quantron, so I'll wait and see how Warbotron looks. I may end up not getting either one, and I love Computron. He was my first complete autobot combiner as a kid.

Maketoys for me. I always imagine Computron as one of the smaller combiners and since Quatron is smaller in scale than Warbotron's I am going with that.

Scale has a lot to do with my decision of which combiner to get. So far my 3P combiners are:

    TFC Hercules/Devastator
    TFC Uranos/Superion
    FP Intimidator/Menasor
    MMC Feral Rex/Predaking
FP Bruticus (Will get Warbotron to replace it)

    So here are my thoughts.

Long story short, I am all about Quantron. Warbotron looks good as well.

    Overall Look
I really like the look and feel of Quantron and appreciate all the thought that as gone into them. They made effort to put their spin on it but still keeping it resembling the G1 edition. I like the thick torso of Quantron.

Warbotron for me, is just too big and the different combiner parts are staring to look the same across to computron. Now if you are just collecting warbotron, i can see this being the way to go. Having a complete set of combiners from them, I could see looking very cool. The torso for them seems a bit off for me as well, it seems a little thing or like it is missing something. i am hating how the arms look. They look like the robot is just hanging off the side. Plus, that bow from Quantron looks rad.

    individual Robots
I really like the robot modes and alt modes for Quantron. Warbotron looks good, but agin, too bulky for my taste.

    Price
Another factor is price. Quantron comes in at 430 and a complete Warbotron will be in the mists of 500-550. I would rather spend the money on Quantron and spend the extra on the next item I was thinking of getting.

In the end, it all comes to personal preference, you can not go wrong either way and they are both seeming to have a lot of promise.

I had thought about Warbotron, but their proportions seem off to me. The only thing I like about Warbotron is the sheer size of the toys. But....MT with their scale to Giant (which I have both versions), and their aesthetics and proportions makes it an overall win for me. Besides....the arm gaps on Warbotron is another factor too as someone already mentioned. I say that....and yet I'm in for TFC's Defensor :lol

    Quantron - Preordered.

To be fair this poll came out back in July.

I'm getting both, then I will judge for myself. Based on my experience with Hercules vs Giant I will probably sell Quantron and keep Warbotron.

I'm getting both too, but with my preference for MTs product over TFC/whoever Quantron will be my Combiner and Warbo will be stand-alones.

The polls over, but I'd put my vote for Quantron.

I honestly like both of them a lot, and I think you can't go wrong with either one. For me personally, Quantron fits in better with my other figures and my head cannon for how each combiner is sized in relation to each other (they're all basically the same size with Predaking being the biggest).

my choice will be Warbatron, mainly i am from old school and Warbatron's Computron looks far most close to the classic version. Though beside the head of MT beings small for me I love the looks. as everyone says both of them looks awesome

Came here after seeing tfsource has the maketoys on sale for $139.99 to try and refresh my memory when I was considering computation sets nearly two years (well, two Black Fridays) ago.
    Make Toys - MTCM-03 Quantron - Set of 5

Man it’d be nice is someone would oversize either of these sets since I prefer gestalts to be in the 17”+ range.

Well, perhaps since this is the smaller one of the two, and I’ve started picking up the MFT line, this might go well with the slightly oversized KO of dx9 hulkie?

Sheesh, didn’t realize there was only one post in this thread since I last came here 17-months for insight when maketoys’ computron was on sale for ~$140. Now I’m here because both baba’s external site and showz’s external site have the warbotron computron set for ~$168 before the roughly 11%-12% discounts they’re respectively running for singles day today & tomorrow.

I missed out when a member was selling the wb:computron set loose in the bst thread for ~$100, but oh well, I guess for about $149 bucks, one can’t go too wrong (unless there’s some better deal out there or some company out there is OSKO’ing it or something).

I personally liked make toys version way better. I think wasbotron looked way to bulky and odd.

on a side note I am selling my make toys version in mint condition if anyone is interested.

As a perfectly normal straight man,I'm only interested in female version, preferable mint condition.

Ive had Quantron since it came out...have loved it ever since. In fact, I bought a 2nd copy of it when it was on sale for so cheap...couldnt pass it up. The other day I bought Warbotron after watching reviews and seeing it so cheap on showz. I havent received it yet but will check in when I do...Computron was one of my fave toys as a kid....
