Constructor best mode is Devastator ,I'd buy this set just for combiner mode although I love Constructicons. I'd like that they could re-release single bots as Shovel and other ones in single package,because whole combiner is too exprensive. Also yellow one is tempting for prices other recent ones are too expensive.

About Shovel,from Emgo's videos transforming him appears easy   ,I coul buy him anyway also a single Shovel to add my Scrapper collection. Do you know if some of these toys have reported problems?I had read that for some 3rd party Constructicons as a Scavenger or Gravity Builder Scraper needed replacement parts in some cases,hope to buy a good Shovel.

Well, of course its not going to be "perfect". That's called marketing. Also, why should they retire him? People are still buying him out of their own volition. I mean, you may disagree with their aesthetic judgment and whatnot, but as long as he sells they'll be releasing him, and that's their prerogative.

I have this on my radar. Having a season 1 Masterpiece cast is still an itch and I feel like this might be a worthy purchase to scratch the itch.

If anything it went up, preorders for the yellow set were at 300, now it's nearly $500 for pretty much any set.

 

They were on black friday 2 or 3 years ago

 

There was a stretch where several retailers had it for well under $400. I just missed on that price point and had to shell out for the V2 boxed set a year r so later.

I would agree if there was a ton of unsold stock like Gabriel but they keep making small production runs and demand seems to still be out there.

 

Dang. I preordered the Perfect edition but now I can’t stop looking at that Cel shaded version. What’s $200 more? $700 is still in the range of FT combiners/Dibots (retail anyways).

 

Tempting for sure. Don't know. Today would be the ideal day to buy for sure.

 

I only recently got back into MPs and another thing I learned is, if it's Fans Toys it may take awhile for it to come. lol. Constructor looks good enough for me, and looks good with Bruticon. /le shrug.
I'm not against getting multiple of combiners & their teams though...

 

They continue to sell so why wouldn't they keep making them? I'm no fan of the company, but as long as they sell, I can't fault them for making them. I can fault them for their QC, but all the non-clear green sets sell out despite it.

Curious given in the showz thread they themselves said yesterday “will go up in 48 hours”

 

This is an update from ShowZ after another inquiry, after they said they’d have it listed in 48 hours. I guess they reached out to Toyworld and were told that TFS has some kind of exclusivity? What’s bizarre is Terry from Terry’s TFS World was actually the first to list this, albeit in very limited quantities. I missed the boat on his preorder bc I mistakenly assumed it would go to wide release and I wanted to buy from a larger domestic retailer given the history of QC problems for this mold.
