Make him pop!! I did the same with the eyes of Ironhide! Makes them so much more alive. But that was a though job with a little pencil
Definitely looks better with the inside of the visor painted. I used metallic blue but it was a bit too dark so I added a layer of regular silver behind the metallic blue and now I think it looks pretty sharp:
From what I have seen, there really wasn't anything to improve upon with the official, but the darker paint scheme, though inaccurate to the movie, and additional paint apps look pretty cool. Do you have a source for this?
Is that the KO in the picture? Usually black Mamba stuff is better painted than the shot in the tread....?
Are there any locks for his knees? I can't stand mine up, he just flops over. :/ Same with the hips. Is this a common thing? I'm not exaggerating when I say this entire figure is a ragdoll. Nothing a little Future can't fix, but still.....had I not known about the Future trick and I received this as my figure, I'd be dumbfounded with how poor it is.
That sucks. Not a common issue, AFAIK, but loose joints feel like something that we all have to deal with from hastak stuff these days. Well this figure shared a thread with MPM Megatron for like a year. They only split it off onto its own thread once people (like me) started getting early samples. Also there is a review thread in the feedback section which is where most discussion of figures is supposed to go once they're released, but somehow a lot of people don't know about the feedback section. Check it out!
Yep. Happy ending, the overnight application of Future fixed it perfectly. Again, just sucks I had to do it.
Sorry to necro a thread, but... I just got Jazz today and I had to cut quite a bit of plastic to get the left die cast toe to move up at all. It still won’t sit flush, but the plastic holding it onto the shin is stressed now. Did anyone else have this issue?
I finally got around to opening my copy of MPM-09 Jazz and found a QC issue that should be easy to fix. The right arm was assembled incorrectly, so that the Windshild doesn't tab into the Headlight in robot mode. This is because the top Hinge that connects the Headlight to rotating bar was assembled upside down so it doesn't fold down, as the hinge was designed to only fold one way. I have a tool for removing pins but for some reason this pin will not budge at all for me. Has any else had this issue and if so is there a way to remove the pin without damaging the figure?
