    Yeah, so this morning I (finally) spent some meaningful time with the YF-19 and it's hard to believe that this jet;

    becomes this robot.

    It's also pretty darn posable. Frankly, this thing is amazing.

    It’s always so impressive to see how sleek and dynamic the YF-19 is. I have no real attachment to Macross or Robotech but that is always a thing of beauty.

    Were you forewarned of his imminence, or has he just cropped up out of the blue? Asking for me, Mister Fretting-about-getting-his.

    It just dropped out of the blue, so at least it confirms the fact that even though they didn’t come up in my orders, ID did have it on theirs!

    Cheers, Bud! They did also reply to my query on that with a screenshot of their warehouse system as proof after their server issue, bless 'em!
    I'm just a bit antsy about how many they got in Vs. how many pre-orders they got in, seeing as they had to pull the listing.

    So, sixgun. A nice figure, and good weapon options. Looks great. I do like these weaponisers. Got two sixguns, one to do up in full silver. I'd say sixgun is the best for weapon options, brunt is the best as a stand alone figure, but all three are great and worth having. Though i have one sixgun with tight joints and one is a bit loose on joints an ports.

    @Insurgent I've found wildly different tolerances across my Sixguns, particularly the red missile/gunbarrels, "finger guns" and the legs & hips, the legs and core I dyed for Sixiron 1.0, then Hexbomb, were the worst set I got (straight up dropping off from their own weight) and fortunately the heat of the dipping tightened them right up!
    Nothing to be sorry about, mate, that's reassuringly handy info to narrow it down to potentially being my further northward location rather than my tightness! ;)

    So I just couldn't help myself and ordered Powerlinx Hot Shot and Powerlinx Demolisher. So that just leaves Overload on my Armada list. Which isn't an easy feat for a decent price.

    Though my last Cybertron piece needed (Minicon Heavy Load) is proving much harder to find nevermind price. It doesn't help that bloody Quickmix got a repaint in Universe as Heavy Load :confused:

    No worries.

    Looks better than trying to combine Overlord and Quickswitch.

    They're not dropping off by themselves yet, but the legs do feel close to it. I wonder why such differences in tolerance? Ah well, the loose one will get painted so hopefully that'll tighten it up a bit.

    The usual with mass production, a bit of the slight variation in physical material, plus the fact the thigh gun barrels are in two halves so, alongside eeeeeever so slightly different amounts of plastic meaning not every component will fit as snugly anyway, not all of them will be assembled equally tightly either. Perfect is not a human scale, and mechanisation still often falls well short of it too!

    I can't remember, but given my thrifty ways, probably not!
