I think it's an intentional change. I imagine they don't want to risk Mack trucks coming after them. Auto manufacturers seem to be a bit more sue-ready than Hasbro afaik.

 

Im not crazy about rustic paint apps but its looking fantastic so far and fits this team so well.

Well what was the reason for collecting them? If it’s for SS this set won’t fit. If you started collecting them for MP’s then this set is probably better.

 

I definitely want one, but can my wallet afford to take the hit? Especially when Hasbro's effort looks more than adequate. Maybe the paint apps aren't there on Hasbro's and it's also missing the back gun and fourth mode as gun platform, but so what when Hasbro's is only going to be $30. In other words, how much is this thing going to set collectors back?

Side Note: What's with all of these lines, figures and companies naming themselves things like, DevilSaviour, Satan, Lucifer, etc.??? Kind of eerie and uncool if you ask me.

So is this just a slightly larger than ss scale version? I would assume it isn\'t mpm scale or it would be enormous. 

 

I see nothing wrong with naming their product after a fictional character.

 

The combiner is meant to be about 50 cm (just under 20 inches) according to the company, so it may indeed be going for MP scale.

 

If anything it’s calling him a toy so I don’t see much issue there.

Mixmaster is MPM scale, Scavenger not so much:

 

MARK might have looked at a glance a bit less odd than Mask but I guess the S is easier to mode back into a C for those who want too.

I like the deco - I might look into this depending on cost he's so nicely painted that tips my interest scales alone.

MPM scale isnt for me but if these guys nail the crab mode for Overload and Hasbro doesnt, I might pick him up as a stand alone figure.

 

Man, I thought these were gonna be SS scale. I wanted to just buy the MIxmaster to pose alongside my SS constructicons, because the official one just isnt cutting it for me.

 

I stand corrected. These are gonna be massive wow.

 

Now this is what I\'m taking about.  The SS is rather bland, so much so that I stopped buying the SS line to get this.  This thing will be massive.  

 

It’s obvs a copyright thing but I think MASK is the perfect alternative seeing as Devy’s head is hiding behind there.
