I'm not 100% sure but I'm guessing (based on how Devy is standing) that this is a Halo reference/mashup.

I think its great, just really different than what we're used to with big dev. Its strange seeing him look scared instead of confident and intimidating, like a lost child. If i can assume that in this comic Shockwave plays some sort of part in Devestators creation, it would be fitting to have this newly created being to look a little lost or even scared. The pose reflects that pretty well, i think.

Love the pixel art, i dont read a lot of the recent comics, so new covers announced just means new phone wallpapers to me -shrug-. If i had any major criticism, it would be that i wish he had some sort of nose? even just two pixels to suggest the shadow of one, his face looks a little flat without it, which only stands out cause the rest of the art really nails the depth.
