Found them in the Christmas toy section not the regular one. OP and Soundblaster are awesome! No Barricade today, but I got my 3rd Reflecktor and I got my daughter her Soundblaster. They had Bluestreak, Thundercracker, Megatron, Starscream and Springer too. Didn't really like Bluestreak as much as I thought. The Prowl mould is just awful on him. I'll get Prime next time gadget
On the contrary, I think Bluestreak is the best looking use of the Prowl mold. Then Smokescreen, then Barricade.
Barricade is a badass black and purple decepticon colors perfection for that mold. I'm curious about the writing on his doors.
Oh he is. I agree with you...its just, some toys can make me tolerate a mould I don't like, sometimes the mould still ruins an otherwise great looking toy. Maybe I'll buy him and grow a tolerance for it?
So still no update on my PO... But, yesterday I was able to order them again for store pick up, and supposedly, they’ll arrive today. We’ll see if that happens.
My Bluestreak still says order delayed. I ordered it on October 29. I have no idea if I'll actually get it.
Aaaaand my in store pickup order was delayed until the 21st of this month. I swear, I’m never gonna get my hands on these freaking figures.
Similarly, my more recent Op and Megs online order status has changed from an impossibly soon date to "Delayed—check back later for status update" while newly-placed preorders still claim to ship on the 15th. At this point, I'll just hope to be pleasantly surprised if it arrives by Thanksgiving. I hope they don't deal with any more exclusives in the near future. Not that I'm holding my breath.
Well, I got my Optimus and Megatron today, courtesy of Kapow (packed together in a box marked 'toys'. That 'display pieces' excuse won't work this time around. ). Looking at them together, they make a nice pair, and I'm definitely pleased to have them in my collection ('Citizens of the cartoon multiverse, make yourselves at home. Don't worry, we've seen stranger faces around here......like that Siege Hound KO standing behind you right now....'). Not getting the originals probably helped, too, though I'd rather have 'cartoon deco' over 'battle damage', anyway. ('Soundblaster deco? Great, can't wait..........uh, no, no, not that sort of 'deco'..'). Now, then, I need to hunt down Ratchet, and wait for Lancer to show up...
So are people finding both variations of Optimus? We saw early samples from China with a white faceplate and grey shadow that match promo pics. The version I found at retail is a grey faceplate with white highlight.
Checked my Walmart today. Tons of Barricades, Soundwaves, Cybertron Primes, and Drifts. No end cap. No Star Wars Black or Marvel Legends. Just miles and miles of Frozen dolls.
