I'm probably wrong but isn't that the cel shading rather than the dirty coloration? thought the dirty yellow had more rust spots on them.

Once upon a time I canceled my preorder of disco devvy. Still not sure whether I’d prefer V2 original green, disco devvy, dirty green or maybe original green with purple windows if they ever make one of those.

What is the best version of the Constructor? I'm buying myself one for my birthday. I'm thinking of getting the chrome version.

 

Good news for those that want it. Looks like it’s not too far away now! I’ll just sit here patiently waiting for my dirty green one.

 

It would be nice if they'd update the status of the Orange Constructor set (not the clear one).

 

Here is my Chrome constructor (with some mods) wasn't a fan of the chrome barrel or red windows, but the price was amazing and couldn't pass it up.

 

Damn that cell shaded version is sooooooo tempting, but damn $700+. It is a limited run. I may just say screw it and get the plain or even the metal one. Once it's bought its value will increase astronomically. And since the preorder is still up I may just treat it as a present to me! Anyone else on the fence?? Curious.

Not sure why this says Black Version, the link is to tfsource green version.

 

So I did not realize that TW was releasing a Perfect Edition on TFS. That seems odd. You would think that they would apply this to all of their future releases so that there are no more QC issues. The Perfect Edition should really be called "TW FINALLY GOT THEIR SHIT TOGETHER AND MADE A BETTER PRODUCT". It makes me wonder if the perfect edition will be better overall compared to the cell shaded or the OG version. Wish we had some inside info on this matter.

 

I also had no idea, I just stumbled on it on accident. I immediately placed a order - says it’s limited to 300, so we’ll see.

 

Ugh, only at TF source though? Shipping to Canada would be $300

 

The best version of Constructor is the original version with upgrades. The green was much less vibrant and tended toward pea soup green in subsequent reissues. It's hard to tell from photos but easy when you do a straight comparison.

 

It seems like there is a green "X" version coming? Just seen the post on TransFans, no idea what the differences are
