No thanks.  The original was impossible to get, even living in Japan and I\'ve anyway got the original Gshock Megatron/Convoy watches.  This one is just too expensive for what it is.

 

Looks like they're doing a lottery for preorders just like they did for the Optimus Prime version. If they follow the same pattern, hopefully RobotKingdom and other online retailers will get the "no watch" version.

And from digging around this morning I learned that Casio did release this on their US site and in one of their NYC stores. So hopefully they'll be available through them again for those who really want the watch.

 

Both correct! I was able to pick up two at their NYC store. They had plenty at the time.

Damn, I cant deny that looks sick, the figure and watch!

 

They're totally booming me with this one. I don't like the Nemesis Prime colors nearly as much as everyone else does, but the DW-5600 is my favorite shape G-Shock (the square guys just fit me way better and I prefer their sleeker look) and now I don't know what to do!

 

Yup. Btw..the figure ain't half bad as well. Lol.

Oh, that's totally different model than the one I posted.

I wish I could get just the watch. The previous model was cool. That figure sucks though as does the display mode thing. I'd excuse it if the made it more into Vector Prime like the Microchange watch.

At first glace of the thumbnail, my brain saw the blues and thought it was some sort of Soundwave.

Gotta admit, this guy looks good in black. The whole watch thing is still kinda weird, but with the matrix alternate you could see this as some sort of WFC stationary beam cannon. He wouldn't be the first artillery transformer we've had. In fact, that may be why I'm digging this a lot more as nemesis than the original.

 

They did not need to go this hard for a watch, but they did and it\'s stunning.

 

While theyre at it, a Soundwave variant would be nice. Especially since the alt mode would totally work as a throne for Megatron. Cuz you kno, excess loyalty and whatnot. Im just spitballing

 

Loving this mold in black and teal. Mmm. I'm so tempeted to get this just for his sexy bot mode.
