I miss my old collection... specifically Browning (not really a character), BW Depth Charge and Powermaser Op Prime. On the fence about getting all three again. Still deciding on which pistol Megs and Star Saber I want, no rush on that stuff. I will get a BW TM2 Megs (Xing), BA and pretty much any other masterpiece style BW character. I don't want to rebuild my collection, just get a few select characters I find pleasing to the eye. Besides I play with Diaclone now anyway.
Thanks to Siege, I'd say the 84-85 original crews. A couple of years ago (already!?!?!?) I was really hoping for the Dinobots, but then they were modernized and released.. that announcement was a pivotal point for me as that's what brought me into collecting a lot more again, so CW, POTP and TR brought in a LOT of characters that I really wanted as they were part of my stolen G1s, and now they've been almost all replaced with the updated versions. I missed Metroplex and might be lucky if they re-issue or I can find a decently priced one. But aside that, I can't think of any that I'm actively looking for from previous series... I used to just buy ad-hoc when I came across something that I didn't have and it triggered my interest. One the 84-85 crews are done, I'm most certainly returning to ad-hoc and probably will be a lot pickier than ever before.
I'd kill for a Voyager size cybertron Megatron. Gimme full batmobile/plane on that. I'd also be down for some beast wars 2 love. Give me the jets from that.

Same here, the CW was also the moment when I started to collect TF toys all over again. I used to have those late 80's and 90's G1 figures when I was a kid but they're mostly beaten and broken and I've lost pretty much 90% of them over the years. I know they're modernized and updated but I'm totally cool with it since they're clearly based on those G1 design with much better articulation and detail.

All the G1 characters that haven't been updated yet. I mostly want Ransack, Barrage, Venom, Doubledealer, Snapdragon & Slapdash. But apparently that's just too much to ask for when a new Optimus Prime & Bumblefuckinbee are everybody's top priority. God forbid they ever make those characters when all anybody wants are 567,855,775,543,000 Optimus fuckin Primes.
Yup, I still have a bunch of G1s and aside nostalgia, they haven't aged that well. I don't suffer of nostalgia for the old toys, I prefer updated versions that are cleaner, more articulated, etc. as long as they look "right" and while there's been numerous updated versions but none nailed it like the Siege is doing. One "big" item was Oega that I really wanted was Omega as mine was stolen, so when he was announced, as while "Huge Dragon" is absolutely amazing, he's too small (A large version of it might have covered my "itch" for this guy, he was on pre-order pretty fast and he does look great, but now that i have him, I wonder about the 3rd parties versions might have been a better choice... but oh well. Yup, but I will say that for OP, the trouble is that they never nailed him perfectly, the ones with the gimmicks weren't clean, etc. but with Siege, while I considered the Cybertronian version to be hard to beat, the coming Earthrise actually did it. I never bothered with getting OP all that much but still ended up with the Classics that I consider amazing but lacks a bit in alt mode and just too small as a small deluxe (but the robot mode has been "THE" version to beat for me), the POTP Orion Pax version is one that I kinda regret getting but hey trailer! so few versions has one now, which is why the Earthrise is a must have, but should they have released a trailer version of Siege, that might have been good enough for me. BB, I can't care any less, and I'm very surprised that for Siege, he didn't even show up and that for Earthrise, we have Cliffjumper coming but stil no BB. But when he does come out, just to have the crew, I'll probably get him, but that'll be the first BB I ever get. I wanted to add one that I'd get if done right, as per the other thread, and that's a titan (or such large version) of Tidal wave if they can do it right and do an good update to the Armada version.

Thanks to WFC, I've already got most of the 84/85 cast I want, I wouldn't mind some non-G1 (UT, Animated, Prime) in the future though.
Superion is a great choice in combiner, also Takara just reissued theirs so now would be the best time to get in on one.
Agreed ... I love those G1 characters, its part of my childhood but I'm not a vintage toys fanatics. I prefer an updated/modern version toys of my fav characters, as long its not straying away too much and still resemble the original design. Better sculp/detail and articulation, why not... Yes, there's already updated version throughout the years but it tend to be hit and miss. I still have collections of legends class from universe & generations lines, mostly the G1 characters. The Siege line so far has been the best , at least for me.
All these minus Siren (I made my own), plus Omnibots. I definitely want to action masters to complete my Lost Light shelf.
I really am hoping to see him in Earthrise... I hated that he lost the vote but that was such a rigged thing that I don't believe that it meant anything, I don't know why they even bother.
