This may be a real thing. Got an email from xtransbots customer support and both my shoulders are in stock now. They sent a pic to confirm the parts are correct and they look like a deeper yellow than the originals, which match better anyway.

 

Gravestone is supposed to be an only cab robot, and the trailer will probably form Menasor, like the DX9 one.

If the cab AND Trailer form Motormaster in the cartoon, then where does the rest of Menasor come from?

The combiners are able to pool their resources and energy in such a way that it's greater than the sum of its parts, which is why combiners tend to be bigger than they should realistically be and why they're so durable when any given part of them should only have the same level of armor as the smaller bot that makes it.

I pretty much just made that up but I think some continuities use something similar to that to justify combiners' power.

XTB is cab only. Trailer is seperate. There's no supposing about it.

I'm not seeing the love in for DX9 Motormaster. Feet look all kinds of wrong (like he's stepped in something), arms make mp10 blush for length and it looks silly having 1/20th of the trailer sitting in alt mode with MM playing peekaboo. Only thing going for him, imo, is his height. Much better than Roadking in that respect.

Menasor on the other hand looks fantastic.

I don’t believe anyone has seen the latest and greatest incarnation of Gravestone yet...

 

I'm fine seeing the photo of G2 Menasor as it eases some anxiety because I like that way it looks but I would love to see some more progress from XTB on Motormaster himself. I'm guessing the trailer is still be reworked.

Well I got Overheat today....WORS PIECE OF PLASTIC CRAP I HAVE EVER GOTTEN MY HANDS ON. TERRIBLE DESIGN, BRITTLE PLASTIC, TRANSFORMED IT ONCE AND IT BROKE IN TWO PLACES. WHAT A COMPLETE DISGRACE OF A FIGURE!!!!!!!

69.99 for a face is a bit much ............

But then there's plastic surgery .... so I guess I get it?

 

$70.00 for a face is laughable...however given the circumstances, its a fair consolation.

 

I hope Gravestone is the same size as Optimus V3 and Megatron V2. No reason he should be so tall, especially with the G1 looking like a little tiny baby.
