I agree with the MPs, but those are ridiculously expensive now.

This is a $10 difference, nothing near the inflation of MP.

 

I could be wrong, but I don’t think that happened until the more recent Walmart reissue, which was after IF’s release of Starscream by a year or two.

However, MPs have been including Megs guns forever.

 

do all the 3 main seekers come with a mini megs or is it just starscream and thundercraker?

also, im glad NA cheaped out with their copy of IF megs and just cast this as one solid piece. that stills leaves IF with the mini megs crown.

Damn. I was determined not to start a Legends collection. I picked up NewAge Megs and MS Optimus to add to my Optimus/Megs collection and they just look amazing. And now these Seekers and the Insecticons... and the cars and Vans...

I think I'm gonna have to start a NewAge Legends collection for my desk at work!!
Fortunately, TaoBao has NewAge stuff for a nice price. Megatron cost me US$40 and the Seekers look to be going for US$33 a pop.

I am noticing that Show.Z says that Starscream ships with the coronation kit but at least one TaoBao seller is saying that it will be with the Transparent version instead? And there's all this talk about a Megatron "modification" that will end up shipping with Thundercracker?

It didn't start with the Walmart reissue but it wasn't always included either. I wanna say they made the gun for one of the Japanese reissues a few years back but I'm not sure when they first did it. I'm sure it's on tfwiki if anybody cares enough to go look. I just meant that Starscream coming with a Megatron gun is hardly a new invention that can be attributed to Iron Factory. I would presume that everybody does it because Starscream wielded Megatron in TFTM in an iconic scene.

 

This accessory was first included with the Takara book style G1 reissue of Starscream. That would have been around 2003.

 

Did any of the Autobots come with an orange blaster effect? We have purple from Megs and the Seekers and the blue from the Seekers jet exhaust.

Really want an orange effect I can add to MS Prime to face off against Megs

 

I don't like that this legends scale Starscream is called Lucifer. There is no need for that!

The stand leg size seems IF approximate, I do hope they're compatible. I prefer IF's simpler base and then could consolidate multiple arms on each.

 

I’d assume the peg on the stands would be some kind of standard peg size? Transformers used to use a 5mm port but does Legends stuff go smaller? 3mm?

 

im glad NA gets to market fast. as these do look great and now my interest are peaked.

i might sell an IF starscream for these.

Anyway, forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't Lucifer traditionally just another name for the planet Venus? The 'fallen from heaven, cast down to earth' stuff in the Book of Isaiah is just a description of how Venus (which was, at the time, wrongly believed to be a star) would dip below the horizon.

I know the popular misconception is that Lucifer is a fallen angel or a devil or whatever, but that's not actually borne out by the text itself.

These are the same hands that they did for Ratchet and Ironhide. I found the fingers way too long, and snipped the fingertips at half their length. Much more proportional now.
