I got it via local retailer here in Hong Kong; I kinda haggle it down it about equivalent to US $470. But I did ask the manager why is everyone (him and other retailers) was only carrying the Asian/NA version, and it turns out their JP shipment came damaged so that’s why everyone is selling the more exclusive version for now.

that is what I like about SOC: the variability.

some perfect transforming figures like godmars/voltron, some heavily parts forming (even ignoring additional anime perfect pieces) like daltanious where you need to add the larger head by default. I never did get daltanious, always wonder if that was a mistake.....

English is clearly not his first language and “nice” is a verbal crutch that he’s over using

Its annoying but he otherwise gets the point across

He's from Singapore, so it's just a slightly different local "english" than the usual American or British local.

Got my DC Mazinger, and Seige effects fit in the forearm! At least, the ones with 5mm pegs.

Cracked open my Dairugger and HOT DAMN its good

The articulation concerns we had were for naught- he can do every pose you want. The joints are well hidden and tight

Most of the combination ports have release mechanisms to avoid stress

It comes with a shitload of accessories

Right on par with Go lion imo

How long is the sword?? It looks gigantic in pics...but most of the pics cut part of it off and make it tough see just how large it is.

Just broke out the measuring tape

    The sword is 12 inches
Dairugger is just under 12 from bottom to top of head

I've spent the last few days fiddling with him and for an idiot made of 15 little vehicles, Dairugger has an amazing amount of presence with a stupidly high level articulation. He's definitely gonna go down as an exemplary SoC release. My only complaint would be the helicopter blades just being loosely held on with friction. I might modify the small ones so there's a magnet in the propeller and a setter on the axle.

I am surprised there aren't included small caps for where the rotors are removed to more mimic the anime, the bare pegs look too utilitarian as if something should be stuck on them!

What are they saying? Are people having actual problems with it (other than the gimpy shoulder ratchet some copies seem to have)?

I'll screenshot it all. I'm working so I'm in and out of the chat working. I do know I saw loose shoulders, can't firmly hold weapons, pieces like the propellers falling off at random, and ones hip came out of yhe socket or something.

Who knows. I’ve watched several YouTube vids up to this point and read some reviews here and elsewhere...mostly positive. I can’t speak for everybody, but there’s no way in hell I’m cancelling mine!

Hmm so far on my copy of Dairugger the propellers stay on fine unless you purposely bumped them off with some decent force. Both shoulder ratchets work fine and I would say the blue copter is a bit tighter than the red, but both hold weapons fine with no sag. I think I would have preferred some harder ratchets at the shoulder, but what is there works fine. Hips on my copy are fine too build wise. Really my only issue is abducting or laterally moving the left shoulder outwards could cause the shoulder to disengage, which is why I recommend pushing the shoulder inward with one hand and using the other hand to pull the shoulder out laterally.
