Wasn't planning to get this until I saw it in the store and fell in love with it. Has two things going for it:
1) The light gray on his upper body and bright red on his sides/elbows are exactly what I think of for a Megatron. Darker gray/more muted red, foh; this is the good stuff far as I'm concerned.
2) The shading on his bicep pipes that make it look like they're casting a shadow is a weirdly excellent little detail. Does way more for me than the cel streaks. Would love to see that kind of thing on non-animationy figures.

I found the 35th anniversary wave at my local Walmart at lunch time. Looks like it had been stocked pretty recently. I grabbed a Bluestreak. Yay!

 

Finally added more red and a bath of clearcoat

 

I’m thinking of creating a custom deluxe size class rung/primus based off the siege rung anyone know what figure might have a good head-sculpt to start from? I’m gonna be using generations wheelie for the body.

I don't have Impactor so not planning on that one. I have not tried a GX Studio kit yet, but I may end up getting some Seeker null rays to try out. I'm thinking it's possible to even plug in 6 blasters total with these on one Seeker (in combination with stock ones).

 

That’s perfect thanks. Do u think the medium sized head would look good on the generations deluxe wheelie figure? I want a head that too small or too big.

 

Large just means you get 2 heads. This head is meant for deluxe sized figures. You’d also have to make sure that the wheelie body has a 4mm neck ball joint.

 

Does anyone know where you can store Countdown when Omega Supreme is in bot mode? I have him sitting on his shoulder but I'm dubious that's the best place for him. Don't want him getting lost.

 

You could put him inside his shin?
