86B9A6EE-66B8-4EAD-B1BB-A1BBECDAC378.jpeg Saw a listing of new ReActions on BBTS. I knew of the ones solicited which remind me of Action Masters. I had not seen any thing come across on a search for these beyond the 4. Also listed was Grimlock, Alpha Trion and Starscream.

Are these legit or something that was supposed to be shown at NYCC? Anyone seen pics yet?

Like a small minority of others out there, I too am a fan of Action Masters, and would welcome a revisitation of the concept. That said, it bugs me that these are even less "action-y" than Action Masters were, having no knees and without the o-ring hips. You couldn't have these interact with G1 Action Master vehicles, for example.

For me, "Action Masters" isn't a catch-all term for any Transformers figures that don't transform. The size, the posability, the ability to interact with Action Master weapons and vehicles... these were all an important part of the concept.

I'm sorry that this line, while coming closer than perhaps anything ever, doesn't really fit the definition.

I'm still hopeful for some enterprising 3D printer enthusiast to come up with new Action Masters that more closely match the originals, only with new characters.

I have all of them on preorder so far.... I’m interested how they turn out, and how big Devy and Skyfire are?

I’m pretty sure they’re going to all be the same size at 3.75 inches. I’m very interested in the characters that don’t always get done, like Jazz and Mirage, but I don’t want to preorder until I’ve seen pictures.

These cost as much as a deluxe, have less articulation and accessories, and don't transform. Remind me what the point of these is?

Like most ReAction figures, these would be cool to have to display on the card ... if they were sold at a $5-$8 price that matched the level of effort put into producing these intentionally lazy figures. But the old $15 price was absolutely ludicrous for what you get from ReAction, and the increase in price to $18 each now only makes it that much easier to pass on them.

$18 for that? Really? Those don't look much better than those cheap figures you see hanging on plastic cords from pegs at Walmart. I mean, they're cute and all but that price seems ridiculous to me. Am I missing something here?

I actually think these look better than a lot of the ReAction 3.75" stuff I've seen. But that price tag? No way.
