WFC-S Apeface is amazing, far better than I was expecting, he may just be my new all time favorite Voyager Decepticon, Siege Soundblaster held that spot previously but that's counting his minions along with him, as standalone figures, Apeface is just alot more fun, add minions and Titan Masters and Apeface may still have more play value.

Some people complaint it's a step-back to Siege engineering / design aesthetic,
yet I welcome the character's addition to the line.

I could be biased as I never have Apeface fig from previous releases (incl. 3Ps).. somehow I sincerely like this design.

Well, here we are. The big one. This year's Titan class figure. And you just know that, with the brutal slam dunk of quality that War for Cybertron: Siege has been, we're in for something obscenely good. Doing a deep dive on this is going to be a rich pleasure.

Countdown was the little moon buggy that came with the Micromaster Rocketbase. He's got a little radar on his back, which is neat. I never saw this as a kid so don't have any memories of, or even any real opinions about, the guy. I think he started the trend of making each new Autobot leader an even more virtuous than the last. A trend that would have topped out with Hyperdrive but wound up ending with good ol' Thunderclash.

Siege Countdown is kinda neat too. He's got a radar on his back too. Which is neat. He's got more articulation than the old one, but not much. I wish they'd painted his face blue like the original.

Oh my god Apeface looks stunning. This is such a good time to be a Generations collector.

 

Thank god, Apeface was the character I was most excited for but cancelled my pre order on as initial photos didn't do him nearly as much as these do, I will definitely pick him up now
