Hearsay's not easy to follow sometimes but this comes from someone I can trust.
According to my friend Val, she's an Aussie Modeler I know from G+/MeWe who spends most of her Gunpla money on Third Party kits, Dragon Momoko's back under a number of different names: MJH, Future Model and are even making a resurgence AS Dragon Momoko. According to New Gundam Central, they were coming back and reissuing their Launcher/Sword Strike Gundams and the Testament. They're entirely original molds so I suppose it means Bandai only shut down the one arm of the company who were lifting parts straight from Bandai's molds.
When she sent me the update from NGC about those reissued kits, I put in an order for a Sword Striker.

Thanks to this conversation, I just checked the site for the first time in two weeks after I never got a notice in my mailbox since I put in the Preorder, but apparently it shipped out ..two weeks ago. Though I don't know about that, because they listed the kits being released at the end of October and the 4PX tracking page can't find the tracking number.

Watch the beginning of MechaGaisouku's video about the original 30MM releases. These things can carry STUPID amounts of attachments.

@Hadlen_Weltall good to know Testament is available again. Kind of want to paint one titans colors for shits and giggles. Think Astray Outer Frame will pop up again too?

Thanks! It's just a roll of counter top vinyl I got from the dollar store that I put onto a poster paper. I got the idea from the Japanese toy bloggers.

Also making progress on my SD Sangoku Soketsuden Dynames:

    I'm so behind.

So far I have TallgeeseIII, Dynames, Altron, Astray Red, Kshatriya, Strike Rouge, Barbatos AND Sinanju totally unbuilt. I also have yet to paint Wing, and Astray Gold is still in pieces.

Shrug? We'll just have to wait and see. Could probably find one on Ebay but at a premium price. Otherwise keep your eyes on gundammodelcenter.com for whatever comes out.

Sooo, I recently mentioned a desert sniper Jesta I was making but I neglected to mention this would be version 2.0... so for funsies, I took photos of the old and new arm together. The old one is to the left, new one to the right.... I do NOT remember how to use rattlecans....  IMG_20191106_010308.jpg IMG_20191106_010259.jpg IMG_20191106_010246.jpg

The 2.0 is looking nice.. and you can probably salvage the original if you strip the paint off. Strip the Mobile Suit to its bare frame and Soak the armor in Super Clean and run it through an UltraSonic Cleaner, but I would let it marinate in 100% concentration a few days to help solubilize it.

Back to the world of handbrushing, I hit the painted skirts with a little Pledge and will have to hit it a few more times to really put the glossy shine to match the plastic again.

Finally got my ebay preorder MSD Zaku Cannon delivered, and it looks like someone punted the damn thing onto my porch. The damage is just bending and runners snapping at where different colors meet, but holy hell.

The SDSK Barbatos is a really stupid kit. It has a black runner where every single part on it should be blue. Why the hell wasn't it just moulded in blue?

Oh that is just all kinds of wrong!! Is there any damage to the parts themselves or is anything significantly dented or mangled ? If so, file a report and say damaged goods, get a refund at least.

Yeah, no... just keep checking out New Gundam Central and wait to find out.

    -
Speaking of finding out the hard ways...

Set together the skirt armor, and seeing it side by side with my painted parts shows how much darker the paint is from the plastic color.

    20191105_224726.jpg

It's misleading in this picture but the difference is noticeable in person. I know where I went wrong, and decided the best way to fix it is to strip the parts back down to bare plastic with the Ultrasonic and Degreaser.

So the parts are primed again, and this time I mixed a small bottled batch of this one and done recipe.

    20191106_022114.jpg

Trick was finding the right balance, and bright enough shade of blue to Testors Dark Blue. Turns out my GP01's Cobalt is the best choice.

The parts themselves are fine, some partially knocked off the sprues but nothing serious. The manual is expectedly crumpled, but useable. I don't think there's anything that makes it necessary to report it, and I really hate dealing with customer service.

I've been neglecting gunpla the last few days to play with SoC Dairugger and my backlog keeps growing. Gunpla is despair.

I would still leave negative/neutral feedback on the delivery though.

Meanwhile, I finally managed to track down my DM Sword Striker after Gundam Central's suggested tracking website failed, but another one prevailed. It's somewhere in Georgia which means I might have it by the weekend!
