This is pretty sweet but I'm going to go ahead and say it's fan mod. Of the original earthrise Prime. Looks like they painted the hands and took the head straight off of the siege figure. Dope build though, but I'm primed out for the time being. Picked up SS 38 the other day, and was like "yeah this MY voyager Prime" . Excited for those getting it.

I feel like the trailer may be a little small...

The new leader classes for this line are just voyagers with some armor up gimmick or added feature like the trailer. But hey articulated hands.

Speaking of SS-38, this OP looks to be a retool of him or at least; they share the same kind of leg engineering

The new photos are a bit more flattering than previous ones. I'll give it props for the 'blued' hands and the truck cab wheels tucking in better and not making a tremendous fanny-pack like early pics seemed to imply. It's cleaner in silhouette than Siege, with some hand articulation for Matrix-handling, probably better range-of-motion in the hips for posing. I'm less a fan of the 'shelfy' chest and the back seeming relatively featureless above the fanny-pack. Perhaps getting it in hand will change my mind, but to me, while E-Rise is better in a number of ways, Siege has a bit more 'soul' to it, in its deviations from cartoon design and extra lumps and bumps.

I'm almost certainly buying the E-Rise toy tho'

Yeah it looks like they took cues from two of the more popular voyager releases. Don't get me wrong this looks dope, I'm just eh with Primes right now. I've bought like 4 different voyagers just this year plus a couple of upscale 3p ones so I just feel like I need something different. Plus I'm running out of space lol.

I agree with that, with the exception that the head isn't particularly secure in robot mode.

Earthrise Optimus looks awesome! Finally a true successor to the Classics mold.

I thought it was genius that they made his gun mode look like a nerf maverick, it looked cool and let me pretend to have a nerf gun years before i actually got one.

    I'd like this Megatron:

The art is consistent despite no physical iteration.

Jeez, he even has the fold up rifle like mp44! This is an incredible representation of big bot, that cant be denied. Even compared to the siege release, the arms aren't as baggy, and they managed to slim down the backpack. Its amazing how the engineering is improved, even if he shares some of the same engineering and parts as Siege prime.

Its really neat seeing just how hard into the g1 revival they seem to be going with this line, with Prime coming with a stand up trailer base, Magnus having his armor, micromasters, and duocons without individual bot modes. They have a very clear intention and they're killing it.

It almost feels a little bland, though. We haven't had a g1 rehash this impressive in a long time, but its sort of disappointing coming off of chapter 1 of Siege. I loved the cybertronian motif, even if it was super half assed at times, at least it wasn't just earth modes again.

I also really hope we get more traditional leader figures sometime soon. The voyager + a bunch of extra gear angle is really neat, and for characters like U. Magnus it almost feels like the concept was built for him, but i miss larger figures. Commander class is incredible and i love my Jetfire to bits, but i do wish there was an intermittent size between him and voyager. Especially in the siege line where figures are getting incredible articulation; I'd gladly pay more for a WFC leader than i would a Prime Wars leader if they were were the same height and had modern tooling.

But if we can focus on what it is instead of what it isnt, Its a micro masterpiece at a leader price point, personally i think that's incredible.
