Great looking Optimus. It might be even better than the Siege one mostly because of the lack of kibble.

Hopefully Starscream manages to be a winner too although the robot mode of the Siege version might be hard to top.

Personally would\'ve liked more pictures, but that\'s just me. Anyways, look at the detail they put into the back of the legs! Cant wait! Were in the golden age now boys!

They should've kept the eyes yellow and changed the grey leg panels to blue. Looks great otherwise.

Looks a bit too leggy compared to Siege Prime imo, but otherwise superb. I just hope we get an Earth mode Megatron to square off against him.

Yeah, it looks like it. On one hand I'm annoyed they didn't bother sculpting a new one, on the other I'm glad it has a really good one and they didn't botch it with a really bad new one. I'm still a little sore about how shockingly terrible the Combiner War's Optimus head was.

 

Yes. That's what I was saying. You put the name of the person you're giving it to in big friggin' letters on Prime's body so they can't edit it out. Then if it gets out you know *exactly* who violated your trust. And since people know you're doing it, they're less likely to leak unless they're very stupid.

Also, it's a potential save against Hasbro tracking the leak back to you because now it's their username plastered on the images. Allowing you to deny it was you unless everybody else stupidly starts coming into this thread to tell everybody to stop sharing the pics because <person who leaked> could get in trouble.

I don't even care if the new figures are "slavish updates" of lines I liked. The Beast Wars toys were already pretty good. I'd be totally up for new imaginings of popular characters or even new characters that fit into those universes (like new Beast Wars characters entirely). Some of my favorite stuff out of Prime Wars were the new combiners and new combining characters because it was something we hadn't seen before.

Wouldn't it be fun to see new characters in that vein? How about a domestic service vehicle combiner with like a mail truck, garbage truck, and bus? Or a bunch of new beasts that turn into a pig, cow, chicken, and horse?

 

So far, ER OP looks great. I dig it.
