I expect at least 75% of the general populous to be willingly taken over, current social media and entertainment trends and activity pretty well cement that. I optimistically expect .00000000000000005% to escape, and the last 24.9999999(so on)9% to die fighting it. I suspect the technology isn't exactly as far off as a lot of people believe it is, but time will tell.

Concerning this woman, "mother" is only technically true in the sense that she managed to get pregnant and bring a child into this world. I tend to rank "anti-vaxxers" on a level below flat-earthers, conspiracy theorists, and Alex Jones fans. None of them listen either, and most likely never will: it's not about the truth, but about an "us vs. the big bad world machine" mentality fostered by a good few decades of movies and shows depicting common folks battle impossible odds against world conspiracies. I really think people fall in love with that and start emulating it on a subconscious level, then take the first opportunity they get like this female and next thing you know, another whackadoodle is in the media.
