I don’t know if TT could handle the engineering on such a complex character. I mean- she transforms into pure feels so we may have to wait for technology to catch up.

Winter Wonderfest must be fast approaching so we should be hopeful for a reveal/silhouette there.
Burning Convoy hopefully means we’ve had the repaint for the year so it’s gotta be a new mold- likely Rattrap- or they finally make use of all the work done designing Cheetor and we get Tigatron (in scale!) which would be one of the most exciting prospects for myself as someone who’s never owned any figure of him.

 

I NEED A TRANSMETAL CHEETOR

 

I think many would like to see season 1 all get done before we see any Transmetal or Fuzor save for Optimus and Megatron maybe.

 

Rattrap would be a decent choice obviously, another fan favourite. Also, he should be much simpler than many of the others.

But god, a masterpiece Inferno would be so... glorious.

 

i really want tarantulas. just to complete the 2 awesome spiders.

The best masterpiece thread in TFW 2005, bring me BA, Lio Convoy and Burning Convoy! I hope its a Predacon next. Original mold, either Waspinator or Terrorsaur to complete the dinos.

 

Heh...how times have changed. There was I time I was on the side of the argument that got the original one of these deleted...but I totally see the need for one now. Even if Beast Wars MPs are not a sub line within MP they are still very much a separate entity and are mosts definately here to stay. Therefore I fully approve of this thread.

Anyway on topic. I've said this elsewhere in other BW MP threads when we've veered off topic but I think we will likely get most if not all of the season 1 cast. My predictions for the next few would be the usual suspects of Rhinox, Rattrap and Waspinator die to their popularity and in the case of the first two to finish off the Axelon crew. Megatron will needs some minions so Waspinator firs that bill, as does Tarantulas that might be able to share some engineering with Blackarachina. Taking of shared engineering, Tigatron gotta happen sooner or later. After that my wishlist goes Terrrorsaur (I actually want him more than most of the ones I've metioned to be honest), Inferno, Airrazor and (if we must) Scoponok.

As for season 1&2 characters, I can't see TT doing them any time soon but when they do Silverbolt and TM Rattrap have gotta be high on the list as they would compliment Blackarachina and Dinobot respectively (TM Rattrap WILL be designed so Dinobot can ride him in 'vehicle mode'). The rest is anyone's guess. I'm really impressed with what JaingXing are doing with these guys so I can wait for TT to get into the game.

As for non show characters/Beast Wars II/Neo. Not really my bag but I wouldn't be surprised if we seen a Big Convoy before long. They seem to be shying away from the non show repaints, you'd have expected a Dinobot repaint by now!?

 

Personally I'm just interested in a complete first season cast and then I'll call it quits on the line. We all know Rattrap, Rhinox and Waspinator are locks. The rest of the Predacons are gonna be iffy in my opinion in terms of popularity, but yes...perhaps Inferno due to his presence. Tigertron is also likely due to most of the engineering being complete already as well. Anyways, can't wait to get Black Arachnia on the shelf next to the other 4.

 

Unlikely as it is I hope that should they do more repaints/retools for the existing BW molds it would be ones that are expected from them in the original lines.

I’m definitely hoping and expecting for S1 to be completed before TT delve into the later characters but I’m not sure if the majority of the BW fandom would inevitably want the faction leaders to be the first TM releases- Megatron is naturally a huge Yeeesssss! because he stole the show in that form but Primal’s TM body was pretty crumby and not hugely popular so I think it would be a mistake to kick of TMs with him. Tarantulus and Rattrap were the most improved designs over their original bodies but I think the best way to kick off the ‘new breed’ would be to go out swinging with Rampage or go a little safer and do Silverbolt.
I reckon for marketing reasons they’d go for TM Rattrap or Silverbolt so they could either show Dinobot riding the former- to talk up the triple changer aspect of TMs with vehicle modes- and Silverbolt carrying Blackarachnia whilst in a flight pose on yet another stand. Maybe even include kissing faces for the pair of them... now I’ve said it, I need it!

 

I would love to recreate this with a MP TM Rattrap, though that's probably years away.



I do think Waspinator will probably be next. I could already imagine how amazing that figure would look outside.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say tigatron will be next. But my most wanted mp now after having all the others in hand and seeing how they transform is terrorsaur! He needs to happen, that’s something I need to see

Three figures currently lined up for release in the near future, but the announcement of the next new mould/character would be great, especially given the wait between announcement and release.

We have plenty of ammo for redecos to pull our weight in that department.

 

We needing Season 1 Rattrap, Rhinox, Waspinator, Scorpinok, Terrasaur, Tarantulus, Tigatron, Aiazor, and some Beast Wars II + Neo guys before going to the Season 2, 3, and maybe Beast Machines.

 

Hey ?! Finally got our own thread ! Sweet!. Based on the heavy rumor from a few months ago , I’m sticking with tigertron for next release , followed by wasp . ( big release small release type deal ).

 

Definitely want to see a silver and purple repaint of Blackarachnia for her Trigger appearance... can’t believe out of all his releases, they never did one for Rhinox’s Dark Designs look
