I dont think we would get off that easy on devy. I was doing $180 x 6. Even calling 780 "cheap" compared to Fort Max wasnt working for me. If someone's willing to spend 780 I'm sure 1k isn't hard to imagine

    Why not pick 300?

Please stop making things up. Also you said "using their current combiner bots as reference". There's nothing from the current combiner bots that tell you that each Constructicon limb bot will be 180. What's so special about Devy anyways? They are at most the size of an Aerialbot so based on that we are looking at 120.

I used maverick and roadking as reference. Both 180. Sorry I offended you

Unlike a combiner with a large core bot, Devastator essentially has six relatively equivalent "limb bots" size-wise.

$100/limb was the established MP combiner team member price before Takara MP prices went shooting up and certain 3Ps started to follow.

So for a six-bot combiner like Devastator where the two torso bots are essentially equivalent in mass to two limb bots, $600 would be a baseline price. Tack on another $50-60 for FT doing the $110 price per limb instead of $100, and add another $100-150 for the Takara Fans Toys tax, and you're looking at around $750-800 as a likely price.

Thanks for being kind in your reply. Appreciate it. I dont know how they determine pricing but my point was it ain't gonna be cheap compared to fort max.

Well if you buy the 4 FT Stunticons at $105 each and Roadking at $180 this comes to around $600. I am making an educated guess here but I am pretty sure a 3 ft Transformer will cost a little more. A Fanstoys Mixmaster does not rely necessarily on having the other 5 parts. You might simply like Mixmaster. Fortress Maximus on the other hand you are far more likely to want the whole thing. Though some will inevitably just go for the head.

So in short I am not making an assumption but I am making a very probable educated remark that Fort Max will not be affordable to many fans and will be significantly more expensive than a six piece combiner.

As long as he's built like a tank I'll find the money to pay for him :)  24 hours overtime on this paycheck! I think there's very little risk of fanstoys botching this figure , they have a lot riding on it as far as future gigantic Bots.. and just collector cred..

You spend $800 to 1200 on a figure you're not going to forget if it's junk any time soon!
I love how it's based on the G1 base mode rather than that newer Hasbro one that came out 3 years ago.. hopefully we don't get the penis dial:)  thought I would like the elevator function!

Everybody is talking about FT Fort Max, but who's actually buying it?
I'm not, because the final product is to expensive and to big to have him anywhere.

If it's anything $1k or less I'm buying no matter what. If it's anything under $1500 and not complete trash, I'm buying. Plus side for fence sitters is they can be happy with their head and decide later if they'd like to go any further.

I'm in. My 32 year old Fort Max could do with a worthy update about now. I was against updating him before, but I mean I'll still keep him. This ought to be bought. This. Is worthy. This... is too good to pass up.

Every time Showz has put him out for preorder, it's sold out. So there's a market for him.

Very true they just keep making up more order numbers I've seen it sell out three times twice the first day on showz..

I think a lot of people will buy this bot, first off because it's fanstoys second off it's the first almost Masterpiece scale City bot.
if you're into Masterpiece or even Legends this is going to look awesome! And knowing fanstoys products it's going to be a while till they do a reissue if at all.. that is after a couple repaints :)
I mean if you don't want to Masterpiece scale City bot then don't look at it. I don't have anything else from the fourth season all I really care about is just having a damn gargantuan City bot.. Fort Max in my opinion is the best-looking one. I just hoping they hurry up and take my cash :)

I thought his height was given as like 45 inches or something?
I'm gonna assume, that Fortress/Cerebros is around $150 as he's suppose to be about the same size as the other headmasters.
As for the body, assuming it's sold as one big piece... Maybe a bit more than Terminus Giganticus was? Like $500-$600?
I don't have space for him, but I'd definitely get Fortress/Cerebros.
