In all seriousness I'm very tempted to get these when my cash isn't all spoken for. They're a great set, I miss the set I did have before and would make a great alt-mode companion to my FT bugs.

Yep, I think Tony at Chimungmung has them in already.

 

Originally they released them separately with bio cards, chrome and diecast. Then they released them together in a three pack without diecast using silver instead of chrome. Hence the "Value pack!"

i got my invoice for these figures, will have to wait for some money to come in before i can pay for them as i used the money i'd put aside for the evil bugs on a MMC Sphinx

i was just re-watching this vid, man the collectors edition bugs look amazing with that chrome and clear chest pieces. i wish they'd release it again

 

Wanted to get Sphinx last week, but I decided to get MP Sunstreaker.

 

yea, if they reissued that version I'd have to get them, build up the bug army. too bad the fansproject bugs are too short in my opinion because they look interesting.

 

I don't recall this being the case. I pre-ordered the first run and they came in the "Value Pack" of all 3 boxed together (solid yellow parts and silver painted parts). The "Value Pack" has always been this solid yellow and silver painted combo as far as I know?

Then they released the "Collector's Edition" versions (translucent yellow and chrome parts) individually in their own separate boxes. I've never seen these in any kind of "pack" together? Did they do an actual "pack" set of the Collector's Edition?

And I've never seen solid yellow parts with chrome nor translucent yellow parts with silver?

Curious about it now though if you're correct.

 

BBTS sold the collector's editions in a "pack" at a discount a year or two ago but it was just the three individually boxed figures. They've never been in a single boxed pack.
