I enjoyed aspects of Prime. The Unicron-Earth twist was an interesting spin on the destroyer, Starscream showing off that he can still work with a deeper voice, rather than someone poorly emulating Chris Latta, nice animation, and a couple interesting new characters (I love Knock Out and Fowler).

That said, it's problems are pretty massive. Season 1 was decent, with bits of dodgy writing, but it kind of took a downward spiral in season 2, though I don't hate it as much as most do. I didn't like the relic quest, but I didn't hate it either. Season 3 ruining season 2's possible Prime death left a very big sour taste in my mouth, and aside from Shockwave's return, didn't really do much for me in terms of being a satisfying final season.

I can enjoy the show, having rewatched it about 2 years ago, and still enjoying what I initially liked when I first watched it as it aired, but it's problems are pretty damn apparent.

 

Yes transformers prime was fucking garbage for many reasons

1. It shat on the legacy of the WFC games. Hasbro TOLD the damn incompetent writers of the show that the show takes place after the wfc games but they decided to be Damn disrespectful and decided to have the show be inspired by the AWFUL MICHEAL BAY UNIVERSE. They literally threw away the continuities of two awesome games that gave us g1 Easter eggs,characters that stayed true to there g1 counterparts AND NO NEW CRAPPY CHARACTERS! Not to mention the games was supposed to be prequels to the g1 cartoon but hasbros STUPID Main manager decided to tie the games in with this god awful show they turned the awesome g1 inspired designs from the wfc/foc games to a bunch of micheal bay garbage Designs that looked like they have been smelted to look More humanoid. NOT IN A GOOD WAY. And where are there noses!!! A TINY FEATURE OF TRANSFORMERS THAT EVEN THE TERRIBLE SHOWS BEAST WARS,CYBERTRON AND ANIMATED GOT
Right! BUT NO THEY DIDNT FORGOT THE UGLY ASS EYEBROWS. I’m starting to notice the exaggerated features of a certain body part a transformer has in these types of shows.

Beast wars has shins and human looking legs,The unicorn trilogy has sticky looking fat ass robots. Animated has chins,prime has eyebrows,RID2015 has shoulders and stupid window shields on all the chest and fucking cyberverse has those wierd glowing veins between there limbs. I HATE IT

2. ITS FUCKING BORING!!!!!!!!!
The first few episodes was ok but the rest was just SOOOOOOO FUCKING GARBAGE AFTER MEGATRON DIED!!! I HATE THE NEW LGBT CHARACTER KNOCK OUT AND THEY SHITTED OK THE LEGACY OF BREAKDOWN! THE REST OF THE SEASONS HAS THEM CHASING AROUND STUPID MACGUFFINS FROM THE 13 STUPID ASS PRIMES THAT ARE ALL CONVIENTETLY ON EARTH AND OTHER POINTLESS GARBAGE OH AND OPTIMUS PRIME DIES AGAIN AT THE END OF SEASON 2 HOW FUCKING ORIGINAL.

BEAST HUNTERS WAS COMPLETE OVER PACED GARBAGE. SOOO BAD I DONT EVEN WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

3. THE DESIGNS ARE UGLY
The designs are HIDEOUS but not as bad as the beast machines maximals and the butt ugly designs micheal bay came up. All of them looks like simplified versions of micheal bays garbage diesgns. AND WHY IS ARCEE BLUE? WHY DOES SHE TRANSFORM INTO A BIKE? SHE SHOULD BE A PINK CAR! JUST SLAP CHROMIAS NAME ON HER AND THE SHOW WOUDNT CHANGE. AND I HATE HOW SOUNDWAVE AND STARSCREAM LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN CLUBBING AT GAY CYBERTRONIAN BARS. WHY DIDNT THEY KEEP THERE WFC BODIES? THIS JUST LIKE BEAST MACHINES WHEN THEY DOWNGRADE FROM HALF DECENT LOOKING ROBOTS TO HIPPIE,UGLY CYBORGS. WHAT ARE THEY? FUCKING GOBOTS? ASIDEE FORM BEAST MACHINE’s terriblenesss THE PRIME DESIGNS SUCKED SO BADLY THAT EVEN HASBRO DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF THE SHOW WAS GOING TO HAVE A TOYLINE LMAO.

Tfp was so bad they fired the bad writers of the show and replaced them with even more terrible writers in rid. Rod is a sequel to this terrible show that’s why I’m saying prime is responsible for this garbage

 

You can’t blame a show for something. Prime wasn’t hitting the target demographic and the animators went over budget too many times. Hasbro deliberately ordered a new series with a more kiddish style to it. I believe you are the one with a lack of understanding here.

 

I wouldn't pay him much attention as I think he is a spammer as this is the third or fourth account that has a variation of true transformers fan as the handle. I think the last one actually got banned.
