I'm pretty sure they can, but they've said they won't since they won't sell. I could see that with Gigan or something but I feel like Mothra would be a good seller.
Awe man, I thought they were fixing the head, but nope, it still doesn't look like the proper one for that movie. Also, the same blast effect again? Couldn't they at least color it blueish?
Picked up my first ever Neca figure today. I was torn between 54 Goji, 94 Goji and 2001 Goji, but ultimately settled on 54. Conveniently, i'd also gotten Siege Lionizer a few days ago, so I had a pretty good effects part to use.
Believe or not, I think his responses have become more... diplomatic over time. They used to be hilarious. My favorite was how he said something like Neca figures weren't actually fragile, that it was the customer just being too rough with them. Even your amazing pictures can't fully shine that turd.
I still can't decide whether I love the Newborn or not. It's a beautiful figure. I just hate the fact that I can't get the thing to stand without that damn display. Typically the display stands don't bother me as I can kind of pose the figure in such a way that the display isn't noticeable. With this figure, though, it looks like the stand piece is giving the Newborn a wedgie in an uncomfortable place.
I don't think a date was given, was it? The fig was shown, but no release info posted. That is one figure I NEED in my collection.
Possibly. If you have a 2nd & Charles in your area it may be worth checking. I was at one today and saw the Assassin and Emissary Predator, Ripley from A1 and Resurrection, the Newborn and Apone.
Got Laser Shot. Design doesn't work as well as I thought it would though. Leg/hip joints already loose. Like he can't even stand. Honestly think I'm just going to return it and get something else.
I spotted Ripley 8 (again) and the new Alien 3 runner today at Target. Hard pass on both. The Runner is just a repack of the older figure (I didn't see any new articulation). Ripley 8 just doesn't look right. I've seen her a few times and can't pull the trigger. Pledge the loose joints.
