the same thing with a slightly different head? The "changed engineering" was mostly proven false as the backpack seems nothing more than mis-transformed. outside of putting in more diecast, they really won't be all that different.

(though this was mostly others studying the images so I could be wrong af on that)

He does have an onion head.

I dont know how great the ratchets will be on the BMB with diecast feet but, the MW is the most stable figure I've ever held. NOTHING jiggles. Everything is ratcheted.

 

This is encouraging. I've got him on the way and while the mold isn't my favorite, WJ's track record with OS, paint and ratchets on MPM figures made me get this guy. I don't believe Black Mamba's will be able to compete, but I really want a Black Apple 07 Megs at one point.

 

I have no dog in the fight for screen accuracy but, hes a very well built figure.

Megatron's head looks like a onion to me...

 

If you check the back of his head, I think you have a piece that's meant to extend out in vehicle mode extended. Try flipping that down, it'll make him a big more accurate.

I don't know which mp08 ko fits better with BA Prime... aaaargh.

 

Got mine yesterday from a local seller for the price of 50USD!!!!! (Transformers are just cheap over here in Malaysia due to extreme competition).

Figure is very well made and solid. Great weathering-ish paintjob that compliments the BA OP perfectly. It has a decent heft to it although I didn’t see any diecast parts. .

I think he scales perfectly with BA though scale purist will argue that Megatron here is still slightly too short if we follow the chart strictly. BMB one which is supposedly 2cm taller might fit the bill better if you are really that OCD about it but to me it looks really stupid when Megatron towers over OP too much.

The WJ version here provides a good compromise. Taller than BA OP but not way too much that it starts to look silly.

 

Excellent. Ratchets for days and for places without ratchets the friction joints are really tight. Everything tabs and locks together super well too. Too well in fact as I had some trouble untabbing the wing section a bit.
