Video review is up. I don't mind partsforming for weapons, but this has a mix of the bad kind of partsforming, IE spider eyes come off and attaches back on as crotchplate in bot mode. Then the spider abdomen side panels don't seem to go back on at all for bot mode, at least not that this video demonstrated. The part that the crotchplate replaces never comes back into play either. This matches the pic in the first post with 3 parts laying at her feet.

 

...is it REALLY necessary to squeeze her boobs that much for the transformation???

Don't mind the partsforming, since the extra pieces do make her look better in both modes.
But why her crotch needs faux eyes is a mystery.

The MP will doubtless be a much better toy for botmode. This one makes too many compromises to be a substitute for an MP.
But it will fit nicely in my chug collection.

Same. I had zero interest in this prior because of the partsforming, but now I'm pondering it just to go with my older BW figs.

 

Cool, doesnt look too bad with the thigh panels left on. What became of the eye part if you dont replace the crotch?

 

Price dropped to $30 at ShowZ. A little better to handle

 

This is a perfect replacement for the original Blackarachnia if you want to pair her up with Fuzor Silverbolt, but if you’re wanting a Masterpiece then stick with the official one.

 

I wish that they didn't made the chest soft, the dull orange clashes with the gold on the rest of her.

 

She shouldn’t even be orange and gold... she’s mostly metallic yellow with the organic parts on her claws and spider legs being a more copper/rust color...
