Eh. I guess that's fair. I think it just happens way too much for me to get too excited about the idea, but I guess you can't really argue with the classics. I'll just be sitting here, rewatching Animated Shockwave punching Ultra Magnus in half.
Megatron being deposed and returning to rule even harder is always fun. Especially how when he's forced to whip his army into shape, they are terrified. That's an important thing about "return of Megatron" plots. They need to show the disarray or fracturing the 'Cons have gone through
Again, I'm confused about the time scale in this continuity. Bombshell talked about being born "kilocycles" ago in his story. If a cycle is a cybetronian day, a kilocycle is a very short span compared to a cybertronian's life. Yet if a cycle is a cybertronian year, why would they use nanocycle in the same issue? Something just doesn't add up.
Yeah agree with this completely. At the end of the day Megatron/Galvatron should be the big bad, it's so satisfying for him to return and essentially prove more competent than all the people who have tried to take his place .
I'm really enjoying this story. Love getting to really know the Constructicons as individuals and enjoyed little details like Skrapnel's word repeats. Look forward to the rest.
Wow. I thought I would give up on TF comics due to the main line(it isn't bad, it's just boring), but this comic was great. I love how the Constructicons were presented. Scrapper's the leader, Bonecrusher's the sadist, Scavenger's weird, Long Haul's the big nice guy, Mix master's the science guy, and Hook's the egoistic guy. And the Insecticons were gr8, especially Bombshell. Can't wait for more!
Kate Spade. Decent, but mid tier. Very run of the mill for superhero comics as far as pacing and setup is concerned. Decent art & colors, average to better than average dialogue. Bog standard plotting.
Not a bad idea. Plot is moving faster than the main, but one is infinity percent more than zero, you know?
Just keep an eye on the board for when the Constructicon story wraps, as this book will move on to focus on other characters after they tell that story. It should give you some idea of what you'll be looking at as far as Galaxies is concerned. Then you can decide when to drop in and grab certain issues when the characters you're interested in get their "spolights" as it were. I'd 100% wait for the trades on the main book though.
