I decided to use it AS SCALE. Where was it written that scale was broken?

Also to use the Bumblebee movie scale is comparing apple to oranges...

 

Actually the deleted scene is canon as well. It can't be ignored.

What is that JP and US stuff at the bottom? We aren’t talking about shoe sizes here. One’s height doesn’t change depending on what country they’re in and also 180cm is 5’11” not 5’9” so I’m extra confused.

Also, Airazor is definitely taller than Rattrap. The evidence is in this thread. She’s on par with Cheetor.

As for that other chart- there’s definitely a few questionable choices in there.

I think optimus primal is too small. Primal should be dinobots size.

As for g1 optimus prime....he is the same size as optimal optimus.

If we must compare scales of g1 with beast wars....small guys like ratrap and blackaracchnia are like the g1 cassette bot sized. Bigger guys like megatron, primal, dinobot, rhinox, and inferno...are like g1 insecticon or mini bot scale.
The really big guys: rampage and depth charge are like a g1 car bot.

 

So, fun story. I, uh, apparently don't know what a decimal point is.  

For the US/JP scalings, on Primal and Rattrap, the US creators listed one size, and the JP team listed another. I believe the Japanese ones are canon, but I included both.

Primal is much, much shorter than Dinobot, though.

 

Hey, look at that. You're right and I was wrong. But the JP scale lists them both at 1.8m

I wouldn't go off the Japanese scale considering, well, Beast Wars wasn't a Japanese show.

 

But given that the Japanese clear ARE going off it, and the American't don't have a canon scale chart, it's at lease worth considering, and noting any ares that need correction.

 

No way.
Maybee only in the first few episodes. But in the majority of episodes he might have reached dinobots forehead. (I would not call that much much shorter). He was definately beafier than dinobot though.


I think this scale is 95% good.
My number one dissagreement is with primal.
My second is with terrorsaur. He was same as scorponok, waspinator, and tarantulas. (With the exception of that one episode where he went on energon steroids.)

 

You've copied an image from Page 1 of the thread, but in doing so, you appear to have completely ignored the wealth of other screenshots there that prove you're incorrect on both points.

I'd suggest going back and having another look.

But here is one which captures a better scale of primal. He is bigger than rhinox.

 

It's called Perspective.

Primal is closer to the 'camera', so he appears bigger.

 

Even in this picture....from an early episode...

Primal is allmost dinobots size. His top of his head reaches dinobots nose.

 

Also if Cheetor’s is supposed to be the size of a Carbot, the animals in the show were pretty big! Lol

That’s called lunging-Looks at the spread of Dinobot’s legs and Primal is also in the foreground with a low camera angle.
Here’ just a few pics I have saved for reference. If you don’t trust these- do you trust the MP figures?

 

Let me put it this way: TT are spending a lot of money producing BW MP figures. I suspect, though have no official confirmation of it but the figures in and of themselves are evidence enough, that TT have access to and are using Mainframe's 3D models from the show. MP Dinobot is bigger than MP Primal, just as the wealth of screenshots demonstrate, and just as our chart suggested.

 

Optimus primals true scale.
He is supposed to be one of the bigger of maximals. Allmost the size of megatron.
