Picked up Rumble and Ratbat pack at a local comics store. Rumble IRL is not quite as stumpy as the renders / pics indicate. However, mine is missing the peg pin of all things.

Edit: Used a leftover pin from a SND kit, which happened to be the right length and 2mm wide.

Seems like the 35th stuff is popular,last Saturday found the display with 5-6 of each,today there was no display and only 1 Megs and 1 Soundblaster left.

 

I changed this for you.   I swear the number of Siege figures that I discounted upon seeing their CAD files only to buy later when finding the physical figure in stores outnumber the ones that I had planned to get from the get go.

This seems to be the general consensus with the Siege line (except for Chromia, Starscream, and Shockwave) as a whole. I don't know if the stores around me just didn't order much but everything from deluxe scale on up just flew off the shelves. In the span of 48 hrs this week a local Target went from having 4 Sixguns, 2 Mirage, 2 Impactor, and 2 Chromia to 3 Sixguns, 1 Impactor and 2 Chromias. With this response I totally understand now why Hasbro threw together a 5th wave for the holiday season.

 

I ordered mine from Pulse and Wal-Mart and both BLUESTREAK and Smokescreen arrived same day! It was glorious

So this happened today...


Of course, the day after I'm whinging about not being able to find him, I do. Took my son to his soccer games this morning, which were out in a rural area. On the way back home, we come up on a podunk Walgreens. I'm about to pass when I figure, what the hell, I'm in no rush so I might as well stop. I'll lose five minutes at worst. I go in, get to the toy aisle and whaddya know? Not a single Ratchet, but six Ratchets! After picking my jaw up off the floor, I grabbed one and was on my way.

So the takeaway is, first whine about not being able to find Ratchet, then the next day go to a podunk Walgreens where you will be pleasantly surprised.  

On a side note - the exclusives crap is really unnerving. Maybe others enjoy "the hunt," but not me. Oh for the days yore with the red or purple, grid-laced boxes stacked on shelves with all bots available.

I liked it when i could walk into a normal shop and find gems like Cybertron Sideways and Hotshot without all the BS, now its only in rare stores that i can find a transformer that isnt a dumbed down toy

 

A little but of red paint and a couple pieces of tape and I'm happy with my Ratchet.

 

I told myself I didnt need a Black Soundwave. Never saw the series Soundblaster was in ....never had the G1 toy.....Didn't need a Black Soundwave.

Then I looked at my collection.


Oh well.
