Comparing the pic above with the photos by @ph4zed here, the NA and DX9 Seekers look to be close in size! NA might be bit bigger (who'd a thunkit?), but it's hard for me to tell.

Time just keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking, ticking~
    Into thaaa fuchaaaah~

Magic Square is looking more Toon-Tastic, while New Age has a more detailed, mini-MP look about their ‘Screamer.

I’d go with New Age, I think, but I should probably get an IF ‘Screamer (somehow) to go with IF Bruticus, if anything... :p

Still, if any of them did a Legends version of Shoji Kawamori’s Green ‘Scream edition of MP-03, I’d be 100% into that, much as I would any attempt of Starscream’s “true” form that Windblade unearthed in her eponymous IDW comic, before ‘Screamer was “constructed cold.”

And, while I’m fantasizing, it’d be pretty nifty if MS or NA also did their own version of Slipstream. But, I won’t get my hopes up for that like I would for Green ‘Scream since that wouldn’t require any or at least not nearly as much remolding.

That DX9 Starscream doesn't have his legs fully extended, he's actually taller than that. In fact, I'd say NA looks exactly the same height, with better proportions (torso is shorter, legs more epic, etc).

edit: actually let me take that back, the legs don't extend, the piece just swaps down.. that said, he's deeper in the photo which makes him look smaller than he should to Megs.

You're right that the leg is not fully transformed--the shin panel needs to be lowered into the correct position--but lowering that panel doesn't extend the length of the leg. So the photo does show the DX9 Seeker at its full height as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I think I just have the knee/shin covers upside down (I kinda like the kneecap flares), but as far as I can remember, they are extended.

That'd be great! I do hope that both companies sell them individually for that reason.
That said, though I'd generally err towards NA in their design approach, I think it'll be MS for me this time out. The short thighs on the na bug me, and I'm not convinced about its foot articulation. I'm sure they'll have great looking redecos though. MS as always looks a bit flat finish wise but looks to tick my personal articulation boxes a bit better. Plus I'm loving that the cape is soft goods 8) Bring on the cone heads!

I wouldn't mind seeing those three either (green, true, or slipstream).

I'm pretty happy with Shapeshift hanging with my Bruticus.

I hear you about articulation, but there is something more aesthetically pleasing about shorter thighs and longer calves on these guys, more manga, more stylistically sleek. The IF seekers have shorter thighs too and they look great, and pose fine enough. But yeah, they won't do yoga. MS Trailbreaker has particularily bad articulation around the legs, but enough to get an action pose, and he looks great. But won't be sitting at the kitchen table. C'est la vie. it all depends on how you play with them, or if you do stop motion animation or something.

    They both have fake windscreen.

On the NA it is the underside of the wings painted and not the top for jet?.. Ah no i take that back it has no paint in that picture.

In dynamic poses I think different brands of seekers could work FB_IMG_1554602242111.jpg

What makes you say that? I'd reckon that the MST version transforms similarly to DX9 and plus there's these bits which seem to match up in alt and bot mode.

I think the MS Seekers look good, but rather boring and staid compared against the NA ones.

You are right, i guess because one picture was painted and the other not.

Looks his head maybe hiding behind those gaps.

This was my idea, glad I'm not the only one. I liked how in the War Within comics all three transformed into the same jet three different ways.

Yep, I agree with you about preferring that as a look. I think the best solution is where the knee joint is housed in the lower leg (like dx9 soundwave/sonic wizard/IF magnus) as opposed to in the upper leg (dx9 And na seekers). That way it’s easier to have that long lower leg look but better articulation. I totally appreciate that it won’t always be possible given whatever transformation is needed though.

I definitely have a long list of things a tf has to tick before I’ll buy it - and intuitive and generous articulation is pretty high up there. It’s kept my collection small though and I’ve had to make peace with the fact that there’s many of my favourite characters that I’ll probably never get - ms trailbreaker being a good example!

On a related note, are ms still doing those weird non balljoint necks? Not a dealbreaker but would be nice if they changed that (and stopped using the nylon, maybe?).

On another note, what's with the weird purple stand for NA? Is it supposed to look like something? Id've preferred a smaller transparent base. Or that IF reissue theirs, I could use a few more.

@NOCV (or someone), can you name all of the cassettes coming out from HTB? I can't find the name of the yellow cassette guy.

Also added DX9 Shattered Glass Dinobots and Toyworld Beast Wars Grimlock.
and changed a few from unreleased red to released black.

If anyone sees something I missed, let me know.
    Thanks!

The yellow one is Solarbot. Not sure on the name of the red and white one, but I think he's from Microchange.
