So is the band name a pun on "goose bumps"?

Regardless, this is almost but not quite as weird as that Cerebros with the game show host heads.

 

I'd like to see what the Cerebros face deco looks like. Can't find a picture of that...

Second, I’m loving this release! The band actually is pretty good, IMO. The music doesn’t quite resonate for me as a 41 year old English speaking geezer but I enjoyed it just the same.

Recently, I have been fawning over my Titans Return hoard and I’m enjoying them as much as ever. This Bumblebee mold is really fun so it’s nice to see it again. Boy does it look sharp in powder blue!

 

I\'ve never heard of this band untill today, but holy crap does Bumblebee look great in that color. I really want this, but I don\'t think I NEED this. I already have the standard release, and I\'m perfectly happy with it.

 

You have to zoom into the back of the box to see it. Looks neat.

Anyway, was anyone getting a massive Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt vibe from the shirt?



The webpage shows it's not a coincidence.

The shirt was designed by Studio TRIGGER's Hiromi Wakabayashi and illustrated by Atsushi Nishigori. Both guys have worked on vibrant, energetic shows like Gurren Lagann and, you guessed it, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

Now I REALLY want TRIGGER to do a Transformers show...

Now we’ve got versions of the TR Bumblebee Mold in all three primary colours.

I was expecting Sega Sonic blue for the ultimate cross over of fanboyism.

 

Back when I was a younger man I had a huge J-Rock phase to the point where myself and a bunch of other local weeaboos (granted this was long enough ago that we didn't even have the term 'weeaboo' yet) had a J-Rock cover band, and I discovered Bump of Chicken and I've loved them ever since. Frankly they've always made me feel better about my band having a stupid-ass name, and I'm a big fan of both them and this new Bumblebee.

 

Well, they still got time to do that Transformers X Sonic crossover. Remember, IDW does both Transformers & Sonic comics now.

 

This is so much in my wheelhouse of the type of oddities I love to collect. Hopefully it won't be impossible to get state-side without spending a fortune. Still wish I could have gotten that wacky downtown fortress head takara did. Was way too pricey.

 

I hope this is super successful so they make more Minibots in new colors.

 

Never heard of the band, but Bumblebee and the titan master both look good!

Now where can I get this guy? I kind of miss the Legends class and Bumblebee was one of my favourites (got the Takara version and Hasbro Roadburn). I wouldn't mind another recolour.
