Let me guess, bumblebee shouldn’t be a muscle car and megatron shouldn’t be a tank either right?

Has Bumblebee been a muscle car and Megatron a tank before Cyberverse?

Characters who have had a long and widely varied history are fine to not look like the original appearance. But if you’re going to bring back an obscure character, make them actually look like the obscure character. And so I say Cyberverse Rack’n’Ruin is a Godawful representation of the original that no true Wreckers fans should accept. We have lots of G1 accurate characters in Cyberverse but Rack’n’Ruin needed to look like the Marvel original.

That’s not the point, the point is that things change. Honestly his marvel and idw backstory makes little sense whereas his cyberverse one makes more sense. To think anything that hasn’t been different before should never be different is pretty silly

If every character that hadn't been changed before was never changed, no characters would have a "long and widely varied history" to begin with. The first change has to happen at some point.

(also, are we really getting hung up on the two guys being connected slightly closer than they used to be? This is certainly still a much more faithful recreation of the original character than some obscure characters have gotten in modern toylines)

This is will be my 4th Cyberverse figure and will join Alpha Trion, Gnaw, and Cheetor on my CHUG shelf.

I guess I'm not a true Wrecker fan, but whatever. How much will this be? $25? My knowledge is limited with Cyberverse.

I'm definitely getting interested in Cyberverse now. At the very least, I'll be keeping an eye out for Bumblebee and Hot Rod.

As for Rack N Ruin, it's nice we're getting some sort of toy, at least. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've had a suspicion that Hasbro wanted to 'complete' the 'updated' original line-up of Wreckers. I'm pretty sure someone at Hastak's working on a more G1 accurate design, for Earthrise or the next toyline (They'd better have their hammer and anvil).

As for the Cyberverse version, depending on how the toy turns out (articulation, etc) I may actually get it. (What, they're not really Rack'N'Ruin? :(

Then call them 'Rock'N'Roll'. They do turn into a tank, after all. :D )

Well that and getting a good toy without unfortunate QC issues.

I mean...he was in the cartoon, i think it's more surprising he's finally getting a toy if anything.

More wreckers the better. Not up on cyberverse - it\'d be cool if they\'re adding a bit of an edge to it... But I fancy the character inclusion is probably more for comedic opportunity?

Personally, I\'m ok on it if it sheds a bit more limelight on wreckers and helps get them introduced into a show/production like - hopefully - the Netflix one could be... I don\'t feel like cyberverse tone/story was ever going to show the kind of thing I want to see from wreckers storyline...

So yeah however the bay films or cyberverse wants to get the wreckers out there  is kind of ok by me as long as it eventually means they make someone\'s planning doc for a subsequent production whose tone/characterisation is more in line with what I want (and again you\'d assume they\'re very unlikely to make season 1 of any new show... But maybe 2 or a spin off? Could be cool?... And then Finally follows the figs the comic/g1 fans will really want...

I like it. I hope it’s in scale with alpha trion. The cyberverse toys are definitely growing on me.

Makes you wonder if there is an alternate reality Optimus still trying to stack those energon boxes without being constantly toppled and have to start all over again.
