I'm surprised you don't have Lugnut teaming up with a Blitzwing somewhere since that's been the trend after TF Animated. Nevertheless, a Corrupt Police dept. sounds like something I'd have Henkei Senator Ratbat Govern over. He's like the Kingpin of my collection, basically having his finger in almost every bowl/pie across the universe.... So Barricade would report to him.

Here's hoping that Mercenary line up rumor coming next year is pretty deep if true!

 

I don't normally modify my transformers but this is one area where I plan to. Those tools are just dying for some paint! I'll be on the hint for Ratchet this weekend.

This guy was well worth the wait. What a fantastic figure. Right up there with Redwing and Jetfire - my other two favorites of the Siege line. I see some people have painted or are planning on painting him a bit. That's fine, each to their own - the additional painting I've see thus far looks good in fact. But as for me, I'm leaving him just the way he is. As far as I'm concerned, they knocked it out of the park with this deco. All that white with just the right amount of red accents, the blue windshield, and that small but aesthetically important crest on his helm - it all ties together extremely well and really makes this figure pop. I've been having a lot of fun photographing him.  

 

Picked up Rang at a local comic book shop. His details are phenomenal

Edit: And yes! That is surprisingly enough a waist articulation on a Battlemaster! WTF?

I always taught Roong would be the perfect candidate for a TF B-A-F, but even if he's tiny this is a nice compromise. Can't wait to have him.

 

Most of the Walmarts here don't even carry anything smaller than a Deluxe, so not gonna look there.

The wrench and turret are inside the van in these pics, they fit in quite snuggly if you're careful. Might scrape custom paint off the front of the crotch though.

No pics of the medbay, I don't care for it. Would make more sense to have a medbay mode for one of the baseformers in ER.



He's not perfect. Except for the overly removable leg flaps he has the same issues as Ironhide, so if you didn't like him Ratty probably won't change your mind.
His arms actually don't tab into his leg panels the same as Ironhide in altmode, making plugging a weapon into them after transformation a bit awkward.


It's just so damn nice to finally have a good Ratchet. The flaws dont bother me at all.

Bluestreak is now available to order online at Wal-Mart.ca. I placed an order. But I don't trust them because they've cancelled several orders I placed.

 

Picked up the weapons for G2 Sideswipe on Nonnef. They look awesome!

 

I'm going to buy Astrotrain and Barricade and then equip Barricade with Astrotrain's extra guns. And it's going to be beautiful.
