This let me think two things :
1 - whatever will be, gcreation or generation toys, the world needs a metallic transforming version
2 - model kits around for tf are too simple.

Damn, he looks awesome. I want him just for the bike alone, lol.

I hope there's an option to buy him without that bike.

Right? I don’t wanna pay a bunch of money for something I’ll never use.

But as I feared, this thing looks like it has some problems. The hands can’t hold the guns well, the sword looks too heavy, and of course, there’s no ratchet joints anywhere, so who knows how long the joints will stay tight.

Unless this thing has an option to buy without the bike for a great price, I’ll probably have to pass. It looks beautiful, but I’d want this to have an IDW Prime to mess around with, not another display piece like GCreation’s Prime

YEah, the bike is cool, but that thing alone is gonna double the price of the figure, and I don't really see myself ever displaying an Optimus Prime figure riding a Tron bike.

Pretty cool, but they need to re-work the hands. The hands look small and undetailed and using a softer pileable plastic for the wrist pegs is not a good idea. The tolerances also need to be adjusted around the wrist joint and it looks like the hips were a tad loose.

Agreed, it really put me off, and I was already skeptical. Idk how far out from release this is, but they should fix it if possible. I’m still hesitant with friction-only joints though

Pre-orders up at Oh My Primus with the bike... Yeah, it's not pretty. Hoping for a release without.

I like the bike BUT the option to buy this without it would make it at least affordable.

Yeah. One could always sell the bike and display stand. Since this guy is close to MP scale I wouldn't be surprised if someone wouldn't want it for their Generation Toy or G-Creation Optimus.

Does anyone actually want the bike though? I could only foresee myself struggling to sell it and then being stuck with it.

At the price it’s listed at, it’s more worth it to just get ThreeZero Prime or something. I don’t wanna pay $230 for this figure when it really doesn’t look worth that much. Solo figure should be $100, $130 at most

Agreed. I'll still be getting this guy though, I don't have a lot on my list for 2019/2020 but this is one of figures I do want. So I'm gonna just eat the extra cost and let you guys know if the figure is any good in hand. Fingers crossed they fine tune some stuff from that test shot before shipping him out.

Near the end of the first “ongoing” IDW Ongoing transformers series, there was an story, Chaos Theory, which told a pre-war story in which Optimus rode the body of a motorcycle transformer friend, Springarm.

Please do! I want it to be good, it looks very appealing, but I’m just a little suspicious haha.
