I would like Nitro Zeus and Mohawk to come back. Street level punks who think they're all that but are at the bottom of the Decepticon ladder. Make them a double act. Even outside the movies. Cogman, not so much. Who I would really like to see return in media in some form is Quintessa. Loved Gemma Chan's performance, loved the design. Would really like to see her repise the role somewhere else.

I forgot about those two, but sure, that kinda thing. Heck, have Nitro and Mohawk in as a pair and bring in Ransack and Crumplezone as a 'rival gang' and the two pairs can keep trying to outdo each other for Megatron's appreciation, but Megs generally just ignores the four of them.

I think in general it is great when any iteration of Transformers introduces a brand new character that is well received and is revisited alongside the usual big G1 names. Animated had Bulkhead and Lockdown, the movies had Barricade and Blackout, Windblade is a character that exists, etc.

So as much as people want classic characters to appear in live action (I do too), I would love to now see Barricade be a big part of the franchise in general going forward. Others I would love to see include Nitro Zeus, Blackout, and the movie version of Hound.

 

To be honest I'd love to see nitro back. I actually made my own headcanon where nitro and shockwave are sparktwins. One being the more cold-hearted scientist while the other being the loud and boisterous weapons expert

 

I think of the movie version of Hound as Bulkhead...

 

I remember Cybertron now that you pointed it out. Comics not so much as I haven't really been big on them. Wish the concept for him in Prime would've happened.

Me too! But I know some cry foul at that because they say he's too violent / triggerhappy for Bulkhead. But I don't think so, Hound is a big softee underneath.

 

Yeah, and all the other characters differ somewhat from their G1 versions. I would like to see a Bayverse Hound with a jeep alt mode...

I'm pretty sure associating with its greatest financial failure in a while isn't exactly a wise decision.

I think they should reconsider including Headmasters, but not annoying stereotypes like Nitro Zeus and Cogman.

Yeah, often times i like the updated versions of characters. IIRC Barricade, Blackout, and Crosshairs were all G1 names but weren't that popular.

 

Yeah, Crosshairs is only remembered because he's part of the first Targetmaster trio. Barricade and Blackout were absolute nobody Micromasters.
