I sort of felt that way too, but I really wasn’t looking for much. It seemed like all the companies carrying 3P had pretty much all the same newer stuff, not a lot of older 3P stuff. All those g1 Skyfires in box was surprising, if only I had $300.

I was looking for some older Transformers Prime and Rid stuff too, but didn’t really find much.

I think ToyHax was at DC last time, I was kinda hoping to see them. Artist alley was in a different room, which was different too.

 

Yeah, it felt like there were less dealers. The A3U/ToyDojo, Agabyss and TCP booths were good, but I’m shocked by TFSource’s absence. It also felt like the smaller sellers all kinda had the same stuff. It was nice that the tables/booths/displays weren’t as claustrophobic as 2017, but I had practically everything I wanted by 11am on Saturday.

 

Me and my daughter had a great time at tfcon yesterday. I was surprised by toy hax and tfsource not being there to. I was nice not to be so crowded like last time. Like others here I wasn’t looking for much and found it all. Sadly I only wanted one exclusive (ratbat) and the person in front of me bought the last one. The whole reason I bought early in tickets and showed up early. If only the “organizers” told people “if you want exclusives go in the other line” I wouldn’t have walked in the dealer room looking for them for ten minutes. Saved money for original comic art so o well but still sucked

If you weren't looking for current 3P offerings or mainline releases older than a few years your options were really slapdash.

I was looking for a few pieces from Adventures that I thought would be easy to find and vendors had NOTHING.

Was also hoping to find some boxed Universe 2.0 stuff (maybe a Razorclaw or Cryotek) and found almost nothing as well.

Didn't even see anyone with the newest Siege waves, but maybe I missed it. I had fun for sure, but really didn't find much.

 

Walgreens in Brookyln Park had 1 Siege Hound.

Walgreens on Kent Island had 1 Siege Red Alert.

 

Walgreens in Easton has 3(but now 2) Siege Ratchet and 1 Siege Hound.

Also, does anyone know if Target is going to keep selling Siege Red Wing? The website says no longer available. Just want to know. Thanks.

 

Hey guys I have a Iron Factory Tyrant I bought at TFcon that I really am having buyers remorse over. He's in box but I opened him and put him back in the box.If anybody in the Perry Hall,White Marsh, Parkville or Rosedale area want one or can meet me in that area. yeah I noticed that yesterday. Honestly it was one of those things I wanted to buy at the convention because I went. If I didn’t get it there didn’t much care To get it another way. Just wanted it for the convention experience. Also trying to wait as one thing did happen to me while I was there that I left out of my first post. Before they sold out they had split the lines into cash and credit. An older lady was next to me and kept saying I was supposed to be next as that’s why the cash people were sent upfront. However they took the credit people instead who bought the last one. Later this lady came up to me and told me that I was supposed to be next and she was very upset over what happened. She then explained to me her husband worked for some of the vendors. She told me her husband was going to try and get one and then they were going to just mail it to me at no cost. Don’t know if this will happen or not but if that happens that be pretty cool. If not I just like I said spend the money on original comic art instead.


Edit: I forgot to mention Hagerstown wal mart (off of 40) has a ton of the 30th anniversary figures plenty of primes, megatrons, soundblasters, and bluestreaks

I was at the old Hagerstown Walmart yesterday to see what the 35th cel shading looked like up close, not impressed with the execution. All the Primes had crooked paint apps on the windshields as well. Walked out with a Springer instead. They also still had G1 Soundwave.
