Ooh looks good. I have the metallic version and it\'s obe of ny all time favorite Transformers figures. I\'d kill to have the full team in metallic. I haven\'t gotten the metallic Swoop yet sadly. I absolutely LOVE the video game designs and Planet X always knocks it out of the park.

Is 120 normal, or is that a lot less than usual... I’m definitely interested, but I’m nervous he’ll sell out before I get the chance
And if I have to resort to the aftermarket, do they show up on eBay or anywhere else, or are they pretty rare?

This is really tempting. Looks good, I like the PlX Dinos a lot, and I remain sad that FP never did retail options of their Dinos in G2 colors (I know Grimlock technically got G2 blue but that was custom-class only, unfortunately). I'm hesitant to pass this up, especially if a G2 Slag & Snarl follow, but my heart and money's already pledged to MMC's G2 Mirage and I have only so much money for the rest of the month for unexpected toy purchases. I'll have to think about this. A lot.

They are supposedly bringing 120 to the show. After the premium ticket holders' get their shot at them Friday night there will be 20 left if everyone buys one. If there are some that pass him up then it will increase the count that will be available Saturday morning when the dealer room opens. The remaining stock will either be put up on The Chosen Prime's website or my guess Planet Steel Express.

 

Yeah, I'm more interested in the 180 that they're not bringing to the show, since the production run was announced as 300 total:

Planet X PX-06 Vulcan (FoC Grimlock)

 

Would have to check with TCP to know for sure but it is most likely either:
300 world units and 120 went to TCP for North America exclusive for TFCon, all of which they are bringing to TFCon and any leftovers will be posted on the site when they get back
or
300 units for North America and TCP is taking 120 of them to TFCon and the rest of their allotment will go up on their site afterward

 

It'll be interesting to see where else it ends up.... I don't think Planet X stuff typically makes it onto PSX's site but I wouldn't doubt that Robot Kingdom might offer some and maybe BBTS since that Fireblast version got around to a handful of places.

I think it was my first Transformer period, though maybe that was actually Prime, but... G2 Grimsy is the first I can remember.

That’s so damn tempting, but I think Toy World’s Steel Lock does enough for me, and I actually have space to display that right now! xD

 

But...but blue Grimlock.... 

 

One Fitty is a lotto money for on one purchase.

I’d rather cross my figures and hope Toy World does a G2 of Steel Lock.

But... if it hangs around for a month.... maybe I’ll get it as a Chanukah present to myself.
