Yeah, they sound broken. Also, the sides and front of the head tab in, as well as the top of the head, so taking it apart could help you get the batteries out.

 

I think mine has this same problem. What did you end up doing?

 

Hello, thanks to the helpful friends here, i bought LR621 batteries and replaced them. Now it works as intended. Head is really easy to took it apart but still needs delicate touch on the horns and chin guards

 

Welp, I wish I had read that you are supposed to dismantle the head entirely to replace the batteries. Do not do what I did and try and left the battery/chip board out of the top of the head...

 

Nothing related to Megatron, but is Dream Factory gone for good? I haven’t seen any updates in their page for a long time and the last update was for Weijiang Ironhide.

 

They just released their repaints of megatron and bonecrusher a month ago or so

I dont have BMB but i do have the MPM. The way i display my DF Megs with his legs, I manage to get him as tall/slighlty taller than MPM at the head. But, MPM is much more massive, wider and thicker.

If you click DF Megs legs all the way in and "squish" his legs, he is much shorter, just a bit taller than MPM prime, or as tall as rotf leader megs.

Thinking of picking this guy up for Christmas. Is the ankle tilt as limited as it seems to be?

EDIT- Doesn't matter- just ordered him from eBay, $74 shipped, via one*day_bid, from whom I recently bought Wei Jiang OS KO Blackout. Christmas with Megatron!

So he arrived much sooner than I thought he would, today, in fact. He's pretty great, pics and whatnot later, but his legs were a hot mess of floppy ratchets. I took the legs apart and converted every ratchet joint to a nice stiff friction joint.

 

I'm real torn between the normal shiny version and the extra rusty one they did.
is there any good side by side comparison of the two? also anyone know if the ratchets are any better on the rusty one?

I got my rusty copy today, and I am fairly impressed, however I can't seem to gtet the electronics to work, do I have to remove one of those safety battery cover slides? I dont think I saw any in the head.

 

Does the battle damaged version come with a damaged head or no?
