Just another name/brand like "Lost Planet" and "Mech Soul" that MFT uses for their Headmaster toys.

 

I love MFT for providing the world with affordable version.

I love Diaclone but there is no way I would be able to justify the pricing.

Not when you can get about 3 MFT for the same price as one, and so far, the quality has been amazing.

I have big plans, and here's what I've done so far with my collection:

A base (that's about to get expanded with a new section)

All "doors" have actually sliding doors.

And bunch of extra "seats" to made my pilots fit in the Transformers that can handle a pilot







So both of my constructions are "gritty" as I didn't want to spent enormous amount of time to do them, but also, this is a warzone, so I find that things would be built roughly...

All the floors are metal paneled so the pilots can stick to them by their feet magnets.

These guys scale phenomenally with the Newage figures.

 

Been messing with my Diaclone stuff the last few days, got it all about a year ago and hadn't really spent enough time with them but I'm having a blast and scheming on acquiring a Big Powered, some Waruders and more soon!

Hzj has GFL02 and SAT 09 in. Roughly $10 cheaper than FaithTopTalk for my order of two GFL02s and 1 SAT 09 due to better prices and combined shipping.

I think it might make for some visual interest to buy at least a couple of colours and juggle the parts.
Especially if you do that in colours that match the mech you use it with.

Which suits did they specifically have in mind the customer using them with ?
Is it just the standard smaller ones - the slightly modifed smaller ones with the new hands or the slightly larger sizes that use the bigger crates (sorry I don't really know the "Official Designations" off by heart).

I don't recall seeing them used with the slightly larger suits (the ones with the larger crates) as yet - so I'm curious do they fit them at all ?

 

Because of the larger shoulders on the larger suits (the Gamma, Delta, etc), the GFL02 backpacks don't work as well as the original drone type backbacks. The "X-Wing" look is cool, and the larger size would totally work with the larger suits, if they didn't bump up against their shoulders.
