I have an Ironhide from the original Pulse batch as well. I found that if you drill out the hinge peg holes a teeny bit they don't pop off so easily.

 

It bums me out that I went to 4 different Walgreens in the area yesterday and had zero success.

It’s real starting to wreck my calm.

 

Dont worry, a lot of us can't find it.

Ratchet will be a shelf warmer in -2 months.

 

Yeah for sure. It’s been - what - four days since first US sighting? There are probably a ton sitting in the back of various stores, they just haven’t gotten around to putting them out yet.

 

I found one in RI this morning.

It's crazy that people assume all Walgreens are equal.

I saw Wreck Gar once in three states, ever.

 

hadnt had any luck all week. I was on the way home from my buddy's house last night. stopped in at a store I never go to, they had 2 ratchets. but the quality was just awful. so I secured one anyway with the hope of exchanging it for another one. well this morning I came across a flawless figure in my neighborhood. went to do the exchange, and mind you I had a 20% off coupon I used. the manager comes over and tells me I have to pay the difference between full price and discounted price, in order to complete the exchange. she wanted me to hand her 4 dollars and some change. my mind was blown. I told her that did not make any sense. you want me to pay the difference to make an even exchange on an unopened product w/ poor quality. she snatched the toy from me and started sqwaking about something. told her look, I've been waiting a year for this figure, and have been driving around in circles like a crazy person for three days. as the argument went on the line grew longer, and longer, and longer. the guy behind me muttled "let him have it". so the manager gave in, cancelled everything and just handed me the one I wanted, said "here, go" I have never ensued so much bullcrap at Walgreens. I've shopped there my entire life even when Eckerd's was around. I've been loyal go them never shop at CVS because I hate that store. but it was quite an experience I must say.

 

Does anyone know if this is the only time Walgreens will stock Ratchet? Or do they re-stock? Seems like each store is getting one case or 4 Ratchets per store.

 

That is insane. I would be having words if that was one of my shift leaders. I dont even bother with the paperwork of doing like item exchanges, I just swap them out and say here ya go.

 

There will probably be restocks through December at which point it will be a discounted shelf warmer or near impossible to find or a weird mix of the two where it’ll be nearly impossible to find aside from the rare store with 12 it can’t get rid of at $12.

 

One persons experience doesn't imitate their entire country wide distribution method.

I'd say keep checking throughout the week, when they get a truck next week.

 

There's a U.S. seller on eBay selling him for $25 and $5 shipped. He seems to be putting up two a day since it's been released in the U.S. I believe you can find the seller if you search sold listings.

A buddy of mine messaged the seller yesterday if he was putting up more, and he said the seller wrote back immediately and said he was about to list two more and my friend managed to get one. I was going to do the same but a TFW2005 member hooked me up with one for cost and shipping.

Not bad considering walgreens.com will run you 19.99 plus 5.99 shipping and tax.

Can't really call him a scalper lol, he's seems to be an extremely reasonable re-distributor even with eBay seller fees.
